The Dark
By MSuspense

Woman in her bedroom
it's late at night
a dark figure of a person comes into the room
wearing black shiny leather gloves
His only intent is to kill her

She looks outside to the apartment across the way, hoping to
see a light on so that she could summon for help.
Nothing, totally black.

She couldn't move her legs. She tries to scream, but nothing
comes out.

She can feel her lips moving, but no sound. It's 3:00 a.m. read the alarm
clock in neon red numbers. What was she doing awake?

She had to be up in four hours to go to work. She looked up to see the
eyes of death. These eyes had no remorse, no feeling, no emotion.

They were as blank as a white canvas.

This was it, she thought. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
