I called Konan
|

My
Chinese name is Xiao Lung. It means Little Dragon. I think that it not
look like myself. So I find new better name.
At 1997 a Japanese manga/anime titled "Meitantei Konan (Detective Conan)" created by Aoyama Gosho. Some my friends feels that I look like the main character whom name is Shinichi Kudo, but in his poisoned form that is be a child named Conan Edogawa. Since the time they ( and people who I never knew whom ) called me Conan. One day when I reading a Japanese Dictionary, I found that Ko Nan had a Japanese mean "Little Man". It written with the kanji character "ko/soo/chisai" that is actually same with my Chinese surname "Xiao" means little; and character "nan" that means "man/male human". Hey...I think this feels funny that I look like the little cute Detective Conan and my name Ko Nan... So, informally I had been changed my Chinese name from "Xiao Lung" to be "Xiao Nan" which pronounced "Ko Nan" in Japanese. So, since the time I called Konan... But....before 1997, some of my friend, lecturers and others sometimes called me Nobita. Nobita is a famous Japanese manga/anime character created by Fujiko F. Fujio. Nobita is a weak, lazy, stupid, pervert child which trying to change his future with help of Doraemon, a smart robot that was sent from the year 2222 by Nobita's grandchild's grandchild Sewashi. I didn't like this character... :< His similarity with me only on his bold glasses ( actually different because Nobita use plus lenses wheter I use minus lenses ). |

Sorry,
beside the formal school, I never going to other course. Except a few
month be a member of a children painting studio, some year training
at Dojo until get blue obi in shorinji Kempo, and 2 days in Japanese
language course, one day sunday school teacher training, some ministry
training....other thing I learnt by myself....
