Thor's Friends and Family
Thor lives with Grammie and Grandad (Betty & Mike Posey) at Wishing Star Farms in Bonham Texas.  They have Christmas Trees that you can choose and cut in season, and also have fun tours for school children in the spring and fall.

That's Grandad on the left with Buster Brown, who is a 4-month old mix-breed puppy.  He's learning to be the new farm dog.
Right is Myryha riding Thor, with Grammie helping as outwalker.  Thor is pretty patient with kids riding him, even though he hasn't had much adult saddle training.
Grandad has Longhorn cattle up at the farm too.  The numbers are changing, as he sells off younger heifers and we have new calves, but we still hav our original 4 purebred, (Fantine is one of them, above) and the new bull, Chullalonghorn.
Currently there are 2 horses, 4 donkeys, and 2 mules at the Wishing Star.  The two mules, Curly and Daze, can be seen on the Mules page.  THe horses, Myryha and Crackers, are also on this site, and the donkeys (Angel, Rabbit, Mario, and Thor makes 4) are all over it too!
Our longhorns are VERY friendly, and love to be fed carrots.  They'll come up and say...
Hi There!
Caroline, a red with brindle face, is one of our original 4 purebred cows.  Her daughter Baby June, and grandaughter also live on the farm! Most of our cows have names from Musicals.  Caroline and Baby June's names come from Gypsy, and Fantine and daughter Cosette are named from Les Miserables.
Chullalonghorn (A slight artistic mispelling) is from The King and I - remember the crown prince?
The herd always has to see what's going on and to help whenever they can.  From left to right:  Curly the mule, Rabbit the tailless donkey, Crackers the Mustang, and Daze the mule.
One of the heifers, half longhorn half beefmaster, named Mini-me (Baby June's daughter) and her new heifer calf Elevenses.
Buster Brown is learning his role as official greeter to the farm.  Friend Kent Corely visits for the first time, while Buster makes sure everyone is welcomed.
Buster Brown asks Grammie if she has dog food in the bag, while Chris and Myryha hug/lean on Angel, our Standard donkey jennet.  What a patient donkey!  But she is watching Buster intently!
