John 3:16 say "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him will have eternal life." So, whoever believes in God's son Jesus will have eternal life or in other words will go to heaven when they die. You see we need a saviour to pay for our sins. A sin is anything that we do wrong. If we didn't have a saviour we would go to hell because of our sins.Jesus came to earth in a manger. Then, was killed on a cross. He was whipped,beaten,spit upon,his beard was pulled off,he had a spear through his side,nails driven through one side of his skin and out through the other side, and a crown of 2-inch thorns through his head. It was all because of us and our sins. Three days later Jesus rose from the dead and went back to heaven.Breaking the chain of sin. God made a perfect way of us being forgiven and going to heaven. All we have to do is admit we are a sinner,ask for forgiveness then ask Jesus to be our saviour and come into our heart. So if you would like to go to heaven and accept Jesus's free way to get to heaven pray this prayer. Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need a saviour or I'll go to hell. I know you died on the cross and rose a again making it possible for me to go heaven. I am sorry for my sins and please forgive me. Lord Jesus come into my heart and be my saviour. |
