Name: Gregory Winchestor

Rank: Captain

Position: Commanding Officer, USS Endeavor

Played By: Alex Verdusco

Current Assignment: USS Endeavor- Transferred from Senior Supervisor of Disputed Zone affairs to Commanding Officer of USS Endeavor, by Fleet Commander Mike Diamond on Stardate 04051.6.

Background

Very little is known about Winchestor's past as he has always been a private person. It is known he spent much of his time as a doctor along the Cardassian border during the war between the Federation and the Cardassian Union. He was also known to spend some time as a doctor in the Klingon frontier and is known to have a good rapore with the Klingons. Very little is known about his actual family, although it is well known that Winchestor considers many of the officers that served with him on the USS Polaris as close family, must notably Captain Brie and Captain Diamond. Rumors suggest that his brother in law, Jeff Price, a pilot for Starfleet talked him into joining Starfleet Medical Corps in his late thirties.

Service
Record

After graduation from Starfleet Medical, Winchestor found himself assigned to the USS Genesis for several years as a member of their medical staff. By the end of his service on the Genesis he had been promoted to full Lt as well as ships counselor. A friend he had met while on Earth, Captain Quinn, talked him into serving as a Executive Officer with the rank of Lt Commander aboard the USS Polaris when it was first commissioned. Winchestor served on that vessel for many years eventually taking command of the starship upon the departure of Captain Quinn. Following the pivitol role of the Polaris in a series of incidents in the Disputed Zone, Captain Winchestor was assigned as Senior Supervisor of Disputed Zone affairs and used the USS Antigone has his command post. Winchestor returned to Earth breifly to discuss a situation involving Katzar and a former officer of his, Captain Richardson of the Maverick. While returning to the Zone, his runabout was destroyed, and he was rescued by the USS Endeavor. Lacking a CO, Captain Diamond ordered Winchestor to take command of the ship.

Other
Data

Captain Winchestor is believed to have an emotional attachment to the politics in the Disputed Zone. Winchestor has been outspoken for the need for more resources to be sent to investigate the emergence of a new super race called the Feelers. The more conservative Starfleet Command has often dubbed Winchestor a rebel, and often overstepping the line. Some believe that is why he was pulled off the Zone following the incident at Katzar.

Name: Katrina Brie

Rank: Commander

Position: Executive Officer, USS Endeavor

Played By: Sarah Hemenway

Current Assignment: USS Endeavor- After a classified Intelligence Mission Brie was transferred to the Endeavor as Executive Officer.

Background

Brie was born to two high-ranking Betazoid officials on Betazed. Her mother, Alana, and her father, Jeman, placed a high value on the traditional nature of Betazoid society. She was promptly genetically bonded to a male of similar age that was appropriate for her status. It was expected that she would develop her telepathic powers, marry her bond mate and produce heirs to the family fortune. However, even as an adolescent, Brie proved this wrong. Her telepathic powers developed later then normal, a source of much distraught for her parents, however, they are now at a level that is consistent with most full-blooded Betazoids. Her parents placed her under rigorous training due to the delayed development of her powers, so she has better control over them then a typical Betazoid.

Brie was first introduced to Starfleet when she was attending school as a young child. One of her better friends, Megan, was the daughter of a Betazoid/Human hybrid who was stationed as an aide to the Starfleet ambassador to Betazed. Megan, and her father, had numerous stories about the world past Betazed. It was not these stories that intrigued Brie as much as it was the ability to be free from the set course of life that her parents had placed in front of her. She pursued admission to Starfleet Academy, with the help of Commander Benson [Megan's father], and managed to secure an appointment without much approval from her parents. She didn't in fact tell them straight out her college plans until the night before she was to leave for a University on Betazed, as well as leave for Starfleet. She was 17 years old.

This path change shocked her parents. They seemed to accept it, but in reality, Brie's ties to her parents were becoming quite shaky. The final falling out occurred when Brie changed her major from Counseling to a double major in Security and Command. She had no desire to listen to other peoples' problems and found she had a tactical mind that fit well with Security. However, it was the Command which disturbed her parents the most - it indicated that she was intending to make a career out of this job. After quite a few fights, Brie and her parents finally severed contact. The last contact she had with them was a message that she had successfully graduated in the top third of her class and had secured an assignment as an aide to an Admiral at Headquarters.

Service
Record

Brie served as an aide to Admiral, then Professor, T’Ral of Starfleet Headquarters, then Starfleet Academy, after graduating in the top half of her class. On a recommendation from the professor, she applied for a position as the Chief of Security of the newly commissioned USS Polaris, under the command of Captain David Quinn. She received the position and was later promoted to a grade of full Lieutenant. Upon the completion of the mission, she was promoted to Second Officer and Operations, when Captain Quinn turned command of the ship over to Captain Gregory Winchestor, the former XO. Over the course of the next mission, she received a promotion to Lieutenant Commander. After a short celebration about the one year anniversary of her newly commissioned ship, Brie was reassigned along with the former Captain of the Polaris on a special operations mission. Any further details on that mission have become classified.  After the completion of it, Brie was transferred back the Polaris, where she assumed the position of Executive Officer and she was promoted to full Commander.

After a few months of service, Brie was removed from duty by Doctor Kathryyn Arayn, Chief Medical Officer of the Polaris, for stress reasons. She chose to take a brief vacation back to her home planet of Betazed to recover. She didn’t find it to her liking and she was soon on Outpost 42, working as an intelligence officer. When her old friend, Captain Michael Diamond, resigned from Starfleet, she was promoted to Captain and received command of the Outpost. However, her old Intelligence ties soon caught up with her and she disappeared off the Outpost on another covert mission. After a stressful year of working undercover, she finally finished her mission and requested immediate assignment. Despite qualms by Starfleet Medical, she was assigned to be Chief Intelligence Officer of the USS Endeavor, with a rank decrease to Commander.

Other
Data

Brie has a smattering of physical injuries left over from her assortment of intelligence work. She’s forward, and does not tend to display her emotions like a typical Betazoid. She is a highly talented telepath, however, she keeps her skills under close guard

Name: Jake Bennett

Rank: Lieutanant Commander

Position: Second Officer, Cheif Flight Officer

Played By: Brandon Irvine

Current Assignment: USS Endeavor- Assigned to USS Endeavor as Chief Flight Officer by Captain Ryan Williams. Elevated to Second Officer by Captain Winchestor on 04041.5.

Background

Jake was born in 2343 on Betazed to Patrick and Rian Bennett. Rian was the heir to the Eighth House of Betazed, while Patrick was a diplomatic aide. Rian died in a hover accident in 2350, 7 years after Jake's birth and 2 years after the birth of Jake's younger brother Scott. After their mother's death, the Patrick accepted a transfer back to Earth, where he retired and moved back to his ancestral home in County Down, Ireland. Scott Bennett is an Ensign Pilot on Outpost 42 in Fleet Three.

Service
Record

Jake enlisted in the Irish Air Defense Force at the age of 17. He spent a decade with the IADF, climbing to a rank of Lt. (j.g.) before gaining admittance into Starfleet Academy at the age of 27. He focused on piloting his sophomore year at the Academy, and, following Patrick Bennett's death in 2373, spent all his time honing his skills. He graduated 10th in his class and was assigned to Starfleet's 4th Fighter Wing, a high-speed response group. He spend a year with the 4th Wing before the outbreak of the Dominion War. At the beginning of the war, Lt. (j.g.) Jake Bennett was transferred to Liberty Squadron. Given the designation Liberty Twelve, Jake was ahead of many higher-ranking officers that were Liberties 13-24. He fought at Cardassia and Deep Space Nine, accumulating 50 unassisted kills in those two battles alone. Records at Starfleet Command show that Bennett scored 129 solo kills before the end of the war, and became an ace within the first week of his assignment to Liberty Squadron.

At the end of the war, Jake was promoted to full Lieutenant and sent to Starbase 279 to build up a fighter defense wing. The thirty-member Blue Squadron was handed to Jake ranked 234th out of 250 fighter wings in the Fleet. After half of his six-month assignment was finished, Blue Squadron was 101st, and was up to 56th by the time he was transferred to Endeavor. Two months into his assignment with Endeavor, he was "taken" by a powerful telepath called Mordan. Mordan told Jake that he could not leave until his mental powers had developed well enough to figure his own way home. After three months, Jake did so.

Other
Data

Jake has a very strange interest in arrogant young pilots. More accurately, he has a strange interest in bruising and/or breaking their egos. Many brash pilots that have entered service beneath him turn 180 degrees with their egos after one run in a simulator. He takes on all of them and tries to turn their arrogance into experience, so that they wont make mistakes born of a high ego in combat, only to be turned into stellar dust. He works hard to break the mold of his blonde haircolor. Many women express that he is a very charming individual, when he smiles, a semi-rare occurence. He doesn't try to be grim on duty, but it happens a lot.
