DJ A, formerly known as Andy the Pooh, is the core element involved in Selekta's live and archived audio and video content. Whether it's Scott Henry's set at a one-off or a live weekly broadcast, he's pushing the envelope to broadcast bumpin' beats to listeners around the world. He can also be found behind the decks mixing up his own flavour of funky breaks. His first mixtape, Funk That Noise, is a tagteam breaks set with friend and Selekta DJ, djmoose. A's influences include Icey, the Freestylers, and the Bassbin Twins. Wind up those hips, move that ass, and prepare to get loose!


Andy has been another staple at my parties. Opening up the night at Cloud 9, and then a year later, being an instrumental part of the whole concept of Grrr... I can assure you that if you like funky breaks, Andy will not disappoint.
