Matt calls his style of music a variety of deep house, tech house, and west coast house. He said that he almost considers it a cross between George Benson and Richie Hawtin. Matt's influences include George Benson and Richie Hawtin of course, but also a Tribe Called Quest, Gang Starr, Sonic Youth, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Larry Levan, and Masters at Work.
