He has had one toe removed due to a large tumor that led to the biopsy confirming cancer. In addition, he had all but 6 teeth removed leaving his canine and two bicuspids due to gum disease. He still has a loving nature and has spirts of energy that rivals a much younger dog.
At his worse, he would be very lethargic and would not let anyone pet him due to the large tumor on his back left hip that would measure about 2.5 inches across and 3/4 inch high. This tumor showed no signs of reduction from homeopathic remedies such as colloidal silver, etc. Though, the tumor stopped growing.
The second tumor showed right behind the right ear and was grape size. His enlarged liver would cause him to drink water profusely as though he was always dehydrated. This would also enhance his bladder difficulties.
After we got the Rife/Bare unit into operation, we began to test it using the general frequencies for detox and blood purification. These freqs included 728, 787, 800, 880, and 5000hz in every session. After two weeks went by, we wrote a protocol for the test subject and measured the size of the tumor for a beginning standard. To our surprise, the tumor located behind the ear was the size of a small raisin.
The tumor on his left hip shrunk to the width of a quarter and was only about 3/8" in height. We began the standard liver fluke freqs that are in the compiled list and noticed that these gave him loose bowel. (A direct hit!)
We are now into week three. We began the carcinoma and general sets more on a regular basis and after 5 days his hip tumor is now showing more signs of shrinkage. The tumor is now only a 1/4 inch in height and just under the size of a quarter.

We had our visit to the vet and just as we expected, his thyroid med was too high. This was no surprise because he was very hyper. He would pace himself like a caged animal day and night until he exhausted himself. He was very stable for over a year at his dose until about May were he began to "speed" up. His thyroid marker should have been at 4 and was at 5.4. Though it may be coincidental, we suspect the Rifing may have come into play here.
The checkup revealed another surprise. The vet knows I have been treating him with an alternate therapy that I have not disclosed to him. As the vet checked his liver size, his amazement was apparent to me. He raised his eyebrows and looked up at me and said that the dog's abdomen was not as bloated as before and that his liver seemed close to normal size. This points to the liver fluke frequencies we run on him. The liver pushes on the bladder and makes it only a few hours that he was able to hold control. Now he can make it 6-8 hours and alerts us when he needs out. He also doesn't drink as much water as before.
The vet also checked the tumors and noticed right away that they had changed for the better. The on behind the ear is down to the size of a mole and the tumor on his left hip is about 1/2 inch wide by 3/8 inch high looking more like a boil. We would have to take a biopsy to conclude results here but unfortunately, these type of tests are expensive and uncomfortable for the dog. So, for now I will have to forego the procedure.
In conclusion: We must contribute his recovery mostly to the Rifing and somewhat to the thyroid medicine.

Our little trouper has been over two months now without any Rife/Bare treatments in order to confirm any results from the previous sessions. He has been stable as far as no new tumors have developed and the two previous tumors are even more difficult to locate. The largest one on his hip is about the size of a penny and feels more like a boil. The one behind his left ear is completely gone. His liver may have enlarged again due to the symptoms of drinking more water and lack of bladder control. Treatments for this condition will resume in the following weeks. Remember, the vet gave him only a year to live. That was over two years ago. He is now 12.5 years old and the average age of this breed according to the Scotty Club of America is 11.3 years due to 7 genetic defects caused by breeding for show.

He just turned 13 on the 25th of May and we treat him every week or so for parasites and liver flukes. He usually remains in the room for other sets on other sets as well. He remains cancer free and shows no signs of other diseases other than the gum disease has returned. We are looking into new sets of Rifing to treat this. He experienced grand mall seizures a few weeks ago. This was do to low thyroid medication and exposure to Casaron, a foliaged killer used in yard and garden maintenance. This chemical was a trigger. We soaked the chemical into the ground and increased medication. The seizures ended and had not returned. Be careful what you and your pet gets exposed to. Even though it says safe, it may still contain inert ingredients that are not so friendly.

Mactavish's health has declined for the last week or so showing signs of a cold/flu. He seems to get better at times but the bad days are out numbering the good. He shows signs of a sinus infection as well. His breathing is labored and he snorts often to clear his nose. He eats less and still takes in plenty of water. We are treating his immune system and continuing his liver sets. He is a now on antibiotics for the infection as well as prescribed by his vet.
7/3/01
We took Mactavish to the vet today and got the bad news. He has been diagnosed with Lymphosarcoma (a lymphoma). All his lymph nodes are swollen and he has taken in little food and dropped about 10% of his body weight since the last checkup 4 months ago. He still has his sinus infection and is now on antibiotics for the second time. We will only use Prednisone to slow the lymphoma. So far, research has shown that lymphosarcoma is a death sentence do to being more of a symptom of a compromised immune system.
7/6/01
We began prednisone today.
7/07/01
He has taken a little food and water today. I began to use Don Tunney's frequencies on sarcoma. We have little hope that his system will take the disease.
7/08/01
His lymph nodes show signs of shrinking after only using group one of the frequencies. He has not eaten much and refuses to take his cheese ball (medicine) without much coaxing. We now have ran group two of the sarcoma frequencies. His breathing is even more labored than before. He still shows affection and desires to be with the family.
7/09/01
Again he has difficulties taking the cheese ball. He has not shown any interest in eating or drinking. We had a talk about his condition and decided to call the vet if he didn't improve.

Remaining outside most of a warm night, I found him curled up in the corner of the yard non-responsive to my commands. I picked him up and carried him to the deck where he again refused water. I knew from the look he gave me that he was giving up the fight. His breathing was very short and shallow..At 9am my wife called and informed me that Mactavish had died. He was in his sleeping position and it seemed that he died in his sleep. He was 13 years, 1 1/2 months old. He had beaten the odds. Kicked Carcinoma, tumors, near liver failure, numerous mouth infections, the amputation of a toe, two tumors, hypothyroidism and various other diseases. We are convinced that the Rife machine gave him another year and a half of quality life. His sarcoma came swift and without much warning. The Scottish Terrier, along with other purebred show dogs, are very susceptible to various cancers especially sarcoma. This is due to inner breeding to achieve show quality dogs. His breathing was an indication that he either had lung cancer or TB.

Last Words:
In loving memory of our pet and family member MacTavish. He will be missed by three generations. He volunteered his later years to the Rife project and was a loving trooper to the very end. We all love and miss him..
