June 10: "Tune In. Read." (Club runs through August 5) Children's Summer Reading Club registration begins at both libraries.

June 14: Family Movie Sing Along:* "The Wizard of Oz," 7 pm at Old Worthington Library

June 15: Indian Dance with Sultana Nahar,* 7 pm at Northwest Library With her colorful costumes and graceful moves, Sultana Nahar will share stories through motion and music.

June 19: Taiwanese Glove Puppet Show: Zodiac Story,* at 2 pm at Old Worthington Library Using glove puppets, the Taiwanese Women's Association will perform a folktale about measuring time.

June 20: Musical Tales,** 2 pm at Northwest Library Children in grades 1-3 will listen, act, create and play their way through this five-week series. They'll even make a musical instrument of their own each week?

June 21: Illustrate!,** 2 pm at Old Worthington Library Kids in grades 4-6 will compile a portfolio of illustration techniques to use for their own stories during this six-week series! Topic: Watercolor.

June 21: Mark Rossio: Batteries Not Included,* 2:30 pm at Northwest Library Local song and dance man Mark Rossio brings his guitar and silly sense of humor for a high energy concert.

June 22: Write it! Draw it! Bind it! A bookmaking workshop,** 3-4:30 pm at Northwest Library Author Sam Swope will conduct a writing workshop to begin this six-week series for kids in grades 4-6. Participants will write and illustrate their own story, then bind it into a book.

June 26: Nancy Lockard: The Turtle Lady,* 4 pm at Old Worthington Library Turtles, snakes and lizards are just some of the friends Nancy will bring to the Library!

June 27: Musical Tales,** 2 pm at Northwest Library

June 28: Melody the Clown: Don't Rock the Jukebooks,* 2 pm at Northwest Library Wackiness ensues when clowns Rocky Rol and Melody bring a jukebox full of books to the Library!

June 28: Illustrate!,** 2 pm at Old Worthington Library Topic: Collage.

June 29: Book Buddies,** 2 pm at Old Worthington Library Children entering grades 1-3 can practice their reading skills at the Library by playing word games, working with an older buddy and listening to stories.

June 29: Write it! Draw it! Bind it! A bookmaking workshop,** 3-4:30 pm at Northwest Library

* Due to limited seating, free tickets are required for this program and will be available one week prior to the performance at the children's desk in the library where it is scheduled.

June 19: Volunteen orientation, 3 pm at Northwest Library

June 21: Teen Readers' Theatre Troupe, 7-8:30 pm at Old Worthington Library Weekly meetings involve rehearsing stories and songs included in the August 2 performance of "Shake, Rattle & Read" for young children. To participate on August 2, you must attend 4 of 6 practices.

June 22: Book Buddies: Older Buddies orientation, 1:30 pm at Old Worthington Library Middle- or high-schoolers can help kids in grades 1-3 practice their reading skills as a book buddy. The program is scheduled on Thursdays, June 29-July 27. Call 807-2623 to attend this training session.

June 22: Teen Readers' Theatre Troupe, 7-8:30 pm at Northwest Library Weekly meetings involve rehearsing stories and songs included in the July 27 performance of "Fractured Fairy Tales" for young children. To participate on July 27, you must attend 4 of 5 practices.

June 23: TGIF: Welcome to Bollywood, 6-9 pm at Old Worthington Library Join us for a celebration of Indian culture! We'll watch "Bride & Prejudice" (PG-13), provide henna tattoos and see different ways of wearing the traditional sari.

June 26: Book Buddies: Older Buddies orientation, 7 pm at Old Worthington Library

June 6: Novel Tea: a book discussion with a twist, 3 pm at Northwest Library Meet Lori and Toni Karayianni, aka Tori Carrington, after reading their latest entry in the Sofie Metropolis mystery series, "Dirty Laundry." Registration is required; call 807-2656 or stop by the Information Desk.

June 7: Speaking Volumes, an evening book discussion group, 7:30 pm at Old Worthington Library Selected title: "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" by Jonathan S. Foer.

June 8: Recorded Classical Music Group, 7-8:30 pm at Old Worthington Library Retired Ohio State University professor Jules LaPidus will explore famous and lesser known recorded classical music pieces and composers.

June 15: Build Wealth, Not Debt: Columbus Saves, 7 pm at Old Worthington Library Children, teens, parents-everyone is encouraged to attend this program and get the information and tools needed to save and build wealth.

June 22: Book Buddies: Older Buddies orientation, 1:30 pm at Old Worthington Library Adults can help kids in grades 1-3 practice their reading skills as a book buddy. The program is scheduled on Thursdays, June 29-July 27. Call 807-2623 to attend this training session.
