( PL ) Co prawda nie w czwartek, w szescdziesiatym dniu od Wielkanocy, ale w nastepujaca po nim niedziele, mielismy okazje uczestniczyc w procesji Bozego Ciala. Po Sumie, wokol parafii w German Village, ksiadz Andrzej Knapik w asyscie ministrantki - Eli, poprowadzil procesję z Najświętszym Sakramentem. Zgodnie z tradycja na trasie czekaly na nas cztery oltarze przybrane kwiatami i zielonymi gałęziami wierzbowymi. Dziewczynki sypaly kwiatki, a parafianie spiewali fragmenty Ewangelii. Pogoda jak zwykle dopisala. Niejednemu ze wzruszenia lza zakrecila sie w oku. Bylo pieknie, rodzinnie i bardzo po polsku. ( EN ) On Saturday June 10th, after a traditional Polish mass, the Corpus Christi procession took place. After the mass, within the quarters of German Village, father Andrew Knapik with the help of Ela an alter helper, led a procession with the Holy Communion. Following the traditions, along the path awaited us four alters decorated in flowers and fresh willow tree twigs. The girls dropped rose pedals as the people of the procession sang Evangelical words. The weather, as usual, was beautiful. It hit home for many people, reminding them of the familiar tradition. It was beautiful, traditional, and very Polish. |
