ANOTHER KILLER STORY
I woke up one morning hearing the news of a shock murder over night. Once i managed to drag myself out of bed i sat in front of the tv to hear more about the murder.
They released the name of the victim. It was Reuben Strange, my best friend since i can remember. I decided i must get revenge on this insane person.
That night i lay in bed listening to the radio waiting to hear news of another murder. The news came on at 3 am. Their had been another murder at the old warehouse downtown. As soon as i heard the news i got in my car and drove to the murder scene.
The police hadnt arrived yet so i surveyed the scene. Blood and guts were everywhere. I couldnt tell whos body it was. As i was leaving i noticed a note that was left by the murderer. I picked it up and went home.
I need to find a motive for the murderer to do this. I took everything into consideration and realised his motive. Reuben worked for a billion dollar computer company and they had produced a chip that could hack into every bank in the world via the internet.
Early next week they released the name of the second victim. It was Saul Burdekin, my other close friend who worked as chief of security guarding the chip.
I then realised that the murderer had to take out the chairman of this company to get even closer to the chip.
For the next week i kept very close to the chairman watching his every move. One friday night he was sitting in a bar all by himself. Suddenly a person dressed in plain black carrying a sharp butchers knife jumped up from behind the bar and sliced his head of in an instant.
I thought to myself, now is the time to go down and find out who he is.
I jumped out of the mens toilet in front of him. He stopped and we stared at each other for a few seconds. It seemed like i all ready new who he was. I couldnt bring myself to say anything. We just stood their staring.
All of a sudden he talked.
"What are you doing here". I couldnt recognise the voice due to the mask. I replied.
"I could ask you the same question". I carried on talking.
"I know why you are doing this. You are a poor inhumane person wanting the chip to get rich. Sorry 'buddy' its not going to work!"
He stood in shock and replied.
"How would you know what i am doing?"
"I put all the pieces of the puzzle together. You killed the inventor of the chip. My best friend Reuben. You killed the cheif of security of the chip Saul Burdekin. And now the chairman of the company. The police are to dumb to figure it out but i could see. It almost seems like i know you".
He then lashed at me with his knife. I wasnt fast enough to jump out of the way and he skimmed my arm. I turned around and pushed him into the bar. I jumped over the bar and grabbed some bottles and smashed them over his head. He got up straight away and i ran towards him. I didnt notice what was on the ground and i tripped up in some of the brain of the chairman. As i lay on the ground the killer jumped on me about to slit my throat i grabed his arm and we struggled. i managed to push him of me and i grabbed his knife. I threw the knife at him as a last act of my strength and i got him in my stomach. He lay on the groud coughing. I walked over to him, fell down beside him and pulled of his mask. I felt despair running through my body as the killer was my college friend, Chris Hand.
I then realised his motives for doing all this. He applied for the job of co-creating the chip at the company but they turned him down. That was the only place he would of been a good worker. So his revenge was to steal the chip and murder a few people along the way.
I looked at him lying their next to me, he was in alot of pain. He reached out for the knife, he grabbed it and his last words were,
"My life is gone and it shall not return, I go now to hell, It is my destiny, It is where i belong."
His words faded away and with his hand he stabbed himself three times. Twice in the heart and the third time in the head. I lay there for a while in despair and agony. I couldnt bring myself to get up and leave. I grabbed the knife with my right hand and lay as my life faded away and it shall never return.
