The Shotgun Medic | |
Pellets slam into the wall above your head, and chips of concrete rain down on your helmet, as you feverishly wrench your sentry gun up to level 2. The menace closes in, shotgun flashing, peeling your armor, tiny balls of steel start tearing your flesh. You prime an emp to face the threat, who is running full tilt towards your position, zig zagging to confuse your sentry guns targeting system. Your enemy is fearless, cocking his shotgun and pulling the trigger to release the stinging projectiles that are eating away at your resolve, eating away at your courage, until there is only one thing left to do... fight to the death.
Suddenly a grenade drops at your feet, and you try to jump away, but then your body is only a cloud of gibs splayed across the floor and the nearest wall. With a triumphant "ha ha", groggy greg limps his way to your flag, and grabs it.
And through it all, the Shotgun Medic is modest about it all. "In case you havent noticed I'm very insecure about my skill. So how would you rate my skill at TFC on a scale of 1 to 10? 10 = being God-like and 1 = being a n00b that deserves to be banned" The Shotgun Medic is constantly on the top of the score chart with a combination of kills and flag captures. On most maps, he will be found behind enemy lines, taking out enemy sentry gun installations, muddling up the enemy defense, and upsetting everyone with nades and concussion blasts. Once spotted, it is easy for him to disappear if you lose a line of sight on him. He is devious, tactful, and knows every hiding space and corner he can duck into in a pinch.
The alarm sounds. A medic has grabbed your flag. You try to respond. But you are dizzy from the concussion grenade. You cannot follow. His image, running away, is blurred. Somehow you must stop him. But it's too late. Much too late. He is gone. You have failed. And now a grenade, primed and lobbed at you with perfect precision ends it all...
Bio | |
After moving to California, -=TnD=- groggy greg joined the TnD clan at the encouragement of his friend, -=TnD=- whyme. more Groggy had tired of playing single-player Half-Life. He had mastered each mod released by Valve, claiming to have defeated each level using non-standard weapons, such as the shotgun and the crowbar. He came to the MIS server after having tired of the regular grav servers, and enjoy the new possibilities and strategies afforded by low gravity. Ever since, he has been a regular player. After friend whyme left the clan, groggy shortly followed, not having bonded with the other members that, at the time, he did not know. He did return with whyme, however, and has since become an active and contributing member to his clan. Outspoken and popular amongst his peers and fellow TFC players, you can find on either MIS or his clan server -=TnD=- OpenServer.
