Chapter 1: You Manipulative Punk!

"You have to go with me to this concert, Mika!" nineteen year old Taylor Watson begged her cousin, Mikayla.

"Nope." Mikayla answered back, trying to block off her cousin's pleads and focus on the book she was reading.

"Please? It would mean the world if you'd go with me! I don't want to go with just anyone, I want to go with my cousin! These are front-row seats! I had to kill for these!" Mikayla looked at her cousin's puppy brown eyes, which were very similar to her own, and sighed with resignation.

"Gosh, you know I can't say no to you when you do that, you manipulative punk!" She said, getting up.

"I love you too!" Taylor squealed happily, giving Mikayla a hug. Their fathers were brothers. Mikayla had grown up extremely close to Taylor and her brother, Noah, though she had lived far from them during her teenage years.

"Won't I seem a bit…old? I mean, I'm twenty-four going to an 'N Sync concert!" Mikayla asked as she watched Taylor jump around happily.

"Nooo!" Taylor answered, "There are a lot of people from different ages there."

"Yeah, ages that range from eight to fourteen." Mikayla muttered, placing her sunglasses on as Taylor dragged her out the door. "See ya later, Noah!" She called to Taylor's older brother, who was eating a bowl of cereal in the kitchen. Noah only grinned happily, for if Mikayla hadn't come to live with them, then he would have to accompany Taylor.

"Man, the crowd's going wild out there," JC commented as he watched the sea of people chanted "N Sync, N Sync," Throughout Pink's opening performance.

"Yeah, they want our blood." Chris joked, stretching his arms. JC grinned. It was still overwhelming how dedicated their fans could be. Sometimes JC couldn't stand it, there was hardly any room for a personal life, and touring was always exhausting. But there were also times he's sit there and wonder what he had done to deserve such affection and devotion from them.

"C'mon guys," Justin said, motioning for them to get up, "it's time for us to go on." JC sighed, kissed the necklace he wore around his neck for good luck as he always did and ran out onto the stage with the rest of the guys.
