Chapter 11: It's Over
"Did you miss me?" Michelle asked dreamily as she rested her head on JC's shoulder.
"Sure, babe." He answered back mechanically, looking at Justin and Julia. They were chattering as they danced, and Justin had this big, stupid grin on his face that JC wanted to whack off. He saw Julia leave suddenly, and wondered what was up.
"Hey, Michelle," Justin said, coming up to them. "Can I borrow JC for a second?"
"Sure." She said after a moment.
"What is it, Justin?" JC asked impatiently when they reached the table they were designated to sit at.
"What did you say to Julia?"
"Nothing! Why, what's wrong?" JC asked worriedly.
"Nothing much, just that she professed her love for you to me and she left for the hotel because she was beginning to cry." Justin told him angrily.
"She did?" JC said, shocked. A part of him wanted to leap in the air and sing 'O Happy Day' that she loved him, while the other part cringed at the thought of having to confront her and Michelle.
"Are you guys talking about that Julia girl?" Michelle said, putting hand on JC's arm. "She's the most arrogant and annoying girl I have ever met. I don't see why she has to tour with you, JC-"
"Okay!" He said angrily, "That's enough! I'm tired of all the games you play Michelle. One moment your happy and you trust me, the second your angry and you think I'm going to jump on the first female I see when I'm away from you! Well I'm tired of this. We're through." He said. He looked at Justin, "Are you sure she went back to the hotel?"
"Yep." Justin said nodding. JC thanked him and took off, leaving a shocked and angry Michelle.

Julia was busy packing up her belongings. Tears streamed down her face as she pushed clothes into one of her suitcases. She had changed out of her lovely dress into a pair of khakis and a white T-shirt. Her cameras were already packed up, but she would ask Chris or Lance to ship them to her home.
I can't go on like this, I can't go on seeing him day after day and knowing I'm in love with him while he's in love with Michelle she thought. All of her equipment was piled up in the corner of the room. Her hands were shaking so hard she dropped her set of sunglasses and bent to pick them up. One of her cds slipped out of the back, but she was too distraught to care. She went to the elevators and pushed a button, impatiently tapping her foot. The elevator door opened and she walked inside.

JC rushed out of the elevator door, too focused to notice that the elevator door next to his had just closed. He rushed to the hotel room, fumbling with his key. The red light switched to green and he opened the door and bolted inside.
"Julia! Julia, are you here!" He called, rushing to her room. It was bare, except for the boxes in the corner. A solitary piece of paper lay on the bed, and JC grabbed it.
Guys,
I've decided that this job is too much for me to handle. Please don't be mad, I'll just find someone else to shoot the footage and I'll edit it so don't worry your video is still in safe hands. Could you please ship the cameras and all that equipment back to my home? Thanks.
Love,
Julia
"Shit!" JC cursed aloud. Something shiny caught his eye. It was on the floor, and he bent and picked it up. Something inside of him clicked, and he ran back to the elevators.
