Chapter 7: Paul..Cartney???
"Where's Michelle?" Justin asked suddenly.
"Oh," JC replied, "She left." Both Justin and Julia stared at him, their eyes wide with shock.
"Why?" They both said simultaneously.
"She was only staying with us for a day, Justin. I thought I mentioned that." JC said.
"Oh, yeah!" Justin said, suddenly remembering. He laughed, and softly hit himself on the forehead with the palm of his hand. "I forgot." Julia just shook her head, muttering "dork." to herself.

They arrived at the hotel several hours later, and everyone was tired by then. Only Chris and Julia seemed to be the only ones who had any energy left in them. "C'mon Lance," Julia teased, holding the camera near his face. His sleepy eyes looked back at her, looking slightly irritated.
"Not now, Jules." He said, raising his hand to block the camera.
"C'mon, beautiful, at least give us a grin!" She coaxed. He rolled his eyes and gave her one of his cheesiest smiles.
JC watched Julia irritate Lance into posing for the camera. The now familiar tugging was happening in the back of his mind, but he pushed it away.
"What's up, JC?" Justin asked him.
"Nothing." He answered back quickly. They were staying at the Hotel San Francisco for a couple of days. The demand for a concert in San Francisco was so high that the guys had decided to give them two concerts, which meant they were going to be in San Francisco for around three days.
They all walked into the elevator, JC had to fit in next to Julia. He noticed she had been avoiding him lately, as if she didn't want to be around him, but he could hardly do anything about that. His hands were full with Michelle as it was. Chris whispered something to Julia that caused her to laugh out loud, and JC felt a pang of jealousy.
Oh..my..God.., He thought. His eyes widened with the realization. I'm in love with Jules. He saw Julia glance at him and he smiled back at her, while feeling like everything inside of him was crashing down.

"Wow, this is where we're staying?" Julia said, stepping into the enormous suite that was at the top of the hotel.
"Yep," Chris said, following her in. "There's six bedrooms I think, take your pick."
"How come she gets to pick first?" Justin whined.
"Because she's the girl," JC said, cutting in, "So be nice and let her pick."
Julia grinned, "thank you, JC."
"No problem." He answered, smiling back at her. Something in his eye caused Julia to turn away, not wanting to look at his beautiful eyes any longer. She surveyed each of the rooms from the doorway.
"I think I'll take…. this one." She said, pointing at the room closest to the balcony door. After everyone had decided which room they were going to stay, everyone went to go do their separate ways.
"You wanna go get something to eat downstairs, Julia?" JC asked, trying to seem casual. She had been sitting on the floor of her room, reviewing the footage she had taken.
"Sure. Where do you want to go?"
"There's a McDonald's downstairs, if you want." He offered.
"Sure." She raised her hand, and he accepted it and helped her up from the ground. He noticed a stack of cds near her bags.
"What are these?" He asked, looking at the cds that were on top of the stack.
"Oh," She said, sheepishly, "they're just some cds. Beatles, Bee Gees, I think I even have yours in there somewhere."
"Beatles? Hmm," He said, "I don’t really listen to them. Sting's more like my type of music." He looked up, "let's go?" He put on a dark baseball cap and sunglasses to disguise himself.
"Ok." They left the suite and left towards the elevators. During the ride down, a group of teenage girls got into the elevator along with them.
"Did you hear?" One of them squealed, "N Sync's in the city somewhere!"
Julia winced at the sound of the girl's high-pitched voice. JC noticed her moment of comfort and chuckled silently. Julia nudged him on the arm and he gave her a look that seemed to ask "what?"
"Hey," One of the girls said, noticing JC and Julia, "aren't you JC Chasez from 'N Sync?" She asked suspiciously. JC acted like he was startled by the question.
"Uh, no. My name's Paul," He frantically searched for a last name, "Cartney." Julia had to bite her lip to keep from laughing. "And this is my wife…."
"Linda," She said, playing along. She put her arm around JC's waist, "it's so weird how many you for that guy, honey." She kissed him on the cheek. The girls in the elevator seemed disappointed, and exited the elevator quickly.
As soon as the girls were out of sight, JC and Julia roared with laughter. "P-paul Cartney," Julia said, struggling for air as she laughed.
"Hey!" He said, "it was the first name I could think of! Now that I think of it, we're lucky those girls didn't know their musical history. Besides, Linda, at least it got rid of them." JC said, feeling as if his lungs were on fire because he was laughing so hard. "Let's go get something to eat." He offered her his arm, and they walked to the McDonalds, still laughing.
