WOW! Two Great Babes in one shot!!!
That's Tammy McAllister with Helen Avakian this time. Tammy is an IBM geek like me, and a wonderful guitar player. She specializes in New Age and Classical, but she is quite versitile. She can flatpick rock or bluegrass when she puts a little attention on it, and now she is playing around with mandolin. She also has a hammered dulcimer and a piano. Whatever instrument or style of play she finds time for, she does well.
I tried to get Helen and Tammy to sign up for my performance anxiety workshop, but they wouldn't do it. Helen was afraid she'd get fired if we did it at her school, and Tammy said "OK, but you go first". But that made me lose interest, and I think she was merely playing with me anyway.
It's too bad because it is so hard to perform in front of people. It takes so long to get used to it, and a lot of people could have benefited from this workshop. My theory is to have workshops about 7 to 10 days long with small groups of 5 to 8 people. Each person would take turns performing with all his/her terror in front of the small group. The performer would be stark naked, and the rest of the class would each point their fingers and laugh loudly. After about a week of this, performing in front of hundreds or thousands of people while wearing clothes on would be a breeze!
I think the theory behind the class was great, and these gals could have helped make it quite profitable. With two great looking ladies in my class, I could have gotten a number of men to sign up for three hundred bucks each, and I was only going to charge the women 10 dollars. I suppose I should have cut them in on the profits rather than offering a reduced rate.
