I don't normally ogle at them, I don't normally gawk and swoon, but there are a select few boys that drive me insane, in a good way. So here's my picks for the cream of the male crop with some analytic interpretation of their seductive powers. For your perusing ease, I have separated them into two easy-to-follow categories: hot (muy sexy hombres) and cute (guys I want to put in my pocket and carry around with me).
HOT
Harrison Ford - I know, he's like 50, but Han Solo is hot, especially in Empire when he looks up when Leia says, "I love you" and answers, "I know." That moment is the female equivalent to the Leia-strapped-to-Jabba male fantasy. And Han has those slacks with the stripe down the side and his gun holster draped around his hips, hmmmm.
Enrique Iglesias - In my opinion, the sexiest Latin hombre. Better than Ricky Martin, because Ricky's just too damn perfect. Enrique has that mole smack center in his face, a touch of flaw that makes me ahhh. And those eyes...I could swim in those eyes. Did you know he's a virgin, waiting for his true love? How romantic is that?
Brendan Fehr - I'm really more in love with his character Michael on Roswell. He plays a silent, stoic type of alien. It was so hot when he finally "crashed down" emotionally in this one episode and stood out in the rain crying at his girlfriend's window. He racks up on hair points for his perfectly messy do. He earns more yummy points for a broad face, squinty, ambiguous eyes, and thick kissable lips.
CUTE
Seth Green -Definitely the
best-looking red-head guy I've ever seen. But when his hair's
not red, it's sinister black, fire-engine red, and tantalizing
blue. Major props to his wardrobe. He always dresses hip, even when decked out
like a homeboy in Can't Hardly Wait. He's a young comic genius. "I wish I'd never been artificiallly created in a lab!"- Seth as Scott Evil in Austin Powers.
John Cusack -
Again, it's the dark hair and eyes that do me in. While I haven't seen much of his early work,
I'm a huge fan of all the movies he's making now like Grosse
Pointe Blank and Being John Malkovich. Not to mention
the way he always fonds after some unrequited love and
ends up heartbroken in the rain in several of
his films.
Gideon Yago -Sure, he represents the most sell-out music establishment (hint: starts with an "M" and ends with a "TV"), but he adds a shred of indie rock cred to MTV News. His black-rimmed glasses say, "I'm smart, I went to Columbia, but I'm also cool, much like Rivers Cuomo." I love it when he spells out his rock allegiances in band T-shirts. He's definitely the cutest journalist ever! I'd watch his package all day (package is TV talk for an edited segment with sound, what were you thinking?)
Jaime Oliver -If you haven't seen The Naked Chef on the Food Network then you are probably wondering who this unknown hottie is. He's a young, tragically cool chef from London who has his own very Gen X cooking show. He brings the Pukkolla to the people; his Populist approach makes cooking fun, without the frills, BAMS!, and snobbiness. And who wouldn't love a man that cooks. Or frequently utters the phrase, "Easy peasy".
Jimmy Fallon -I've had my eye on him since he was a featured player. Now every Saturday I wait for Don Pardo to say "Jiiiimmiiee Fffallon" and then fall to my knees and stretch out my hand to the TV set in a devotional gesture to my favorite SNL cast member. He lets a lot of himself shine through in his characters, a bit like Adam Sandler, but that just makes me think he's a uber-cool guy. His impressions are always dead-on and his smile is infectious.
Ethan Embry -His acting style is like an adorable lost puppy dog. He'll just stare off at times, at others he'll flash an energetic smile reminiscent of a golden retriever panting and wagging it's tail. Best works I've seen are in Can't Hardly Wait and Empire Records
