Food Service Plan

Students will be required to bring their lunches which need to contain food each day from the four basic food groups. Milk will be provided by the center. Lunches should consist of food from the four major food groups listed below. Each day each child must receive the following:

  • Fruit and Vegetable Group—1 Serving from each group or 2 servings from one group
  • Protein Group—1 Serving
  • Bread & Grain Group—1 Serving
  • Dairy Products—1 Serving

Lunches must be marked with the child’s name, and will be stored in a properly regulated refrigerator located in the kitchen which is adjacent to the Fellowship Hall.

The following food will be kept on hand at school. If your child’s lunch does not contain food items from each food group as listed above, the child’s lunch will be supplemented from the following prepackaged individual servings of food which will be kept on hand at the school at a cost to you of 50 cents per item.

  • Peanut butter and crackers
  • Apple sauce
  • Fruit cocktail
  • Raisins

A notice will go home for the amount you owe. This amount is due and payable upon receipt of the notice.
