Reality
By: Nelly Price
On a humid July night,
You crawl up the stairs,
To your third story bedroom
And jump into bed.

Once you fall asleep,
You open your eyes,
Jump out your window
And play in the new fallen snow.

After you've had several conversations,
With the miniscule zebras and frogs,
You jump into your rocket ship
And rush to have tea with the queen.

When you tire of her company,
You borrow her kangaroo,
And swim home
In a sea of flower petals

You look at your watch and yawn
"Gosh it's getting late"
So you climb up your stairs and awaken
For it's time to go to sleep.
