The New Shower

So, the scummy shower we had leaked and went mouldy a lot, and I’m not about to install our new swanky floor and have it ruined in a week. Now it seemed like such a simple idea. Buy a cool new shower, pull out the old one, jam in the new one.

Sigh. How wrong we were.

So, here I have this shower head, but where’s the shower?

Cutting out the partition to make room for the awesome new, super sized shower.

And what do we find? It seems that all the vents and water went straight up through it. This meant lots of under the house fun and plumbing galore.

Threw down the floor during one of the many Home Depot supply runs and then dropped in the base.

Fun with the awesome cordless that Lloyd bought us.

The new shower with lotsa space and sliding ‘Star Trek’ doors to stop water dribbling all over my new floor job when you step out.
