Family Visit

The first week of my trip saw me in Felixstowe, visiting my mum and dad.

Dad’s taken up the sax.

I spent time unplugged and just relaxing in their garden without a text book in sight.

The weather was highly agreeable.

Trouble is, I wasn’t expecting a reunion with hay fever after all this time.

Landguard Fort, the last place where England was invaded.

My mum unaware what the pretty flower emblem on her tobacco tin actually means

The creepy garden statues that scare aware even the most hardcore burglar.

The spec on the horizon is Sealand

My first real fry up in ten years.

Bawdsey Radar Station where radar came about after they tried to make Death Rays (although they also inadvertently came up with microwave).

Etty the Hungarian Vizsla.

The middle brick on the fireplace is from the Houses of Parliament (left over from a renovation job the builders did there.)
