Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad
Here is my recipe for Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad.
You will need:
- 3 Chicken Breasts (boneless and skinless)
- One package Caesar Salad Supreme (Fresh Express or similar)
- Celery Salt
- Sweet Basil leaves
- Olive Oil
Here's how you do it:
- Sear the chicken breasts in hot olive oil to seal in juices
- Place the chicken on a broiler pan
- Generously season with crushed basil and celery salt
- Broil for 5 to 10 minutes to brown chicken
- Lower oven to 350 F and continue baking
- When chicken is done place on cutting board and cool for 10 minutes
- Cut chicken into strips and serve over lettuce with croutons and dressing
Notes:
Searing seals in the natural juices by quickly cooking the outside
surface of the chicken. This will splatter hot oil so be prepared.
The chicken is done when it feels firm when pressed with a fork.
The salad mix provides the Romaine lettuce, Ceasar dressing, croutons,
and grated cheese needed. You can always acquire these items separately.
