These are some useless facts about silverchair. Actually they're not actually "useless" some are actually good. I apoligize if most of the info are on Ben and Daniel, it's so hard to find anything on Chris. Anyways if you have any please send me some. I'll try to update or add some as often. Oh yeah, they're not in particular order. I'm just thinking of them on the top of my head.

- Daniel wrote Neon Ballroom in the process of 3 months

- Daniel wrote about 112 poems in three months

- Ben describes Daniel as a "hermit" someone who does nothing

- Daniel was going to break up silverchair after the Freak Show tour

- After seeing Kiss: Live at Wembley, Daniel's dream is to play at Wembley Stadium

- Ben and Chris share hotel rooms because they like to enjoy eachothers company

- Daniel hates it when people ask him what time it is on the beach

- Daniel had 2 eye brow rings but says one got ripped off and I guess the other grew out

- Daniel owns about 24 guitars (he probably owns more now)

- Daniel's brother Heath is in a band called "Army of Prawns" (their first major gig is in Newcastle, Australia on July 31)

- Chris has a girlfriend for about 3 years now

- Ben can't wait to get a notepad (computer) so he can send his girlfriend love letters

- Daniel is rumoured to have a girlfriend

- Ben got his hair cut because it was getting in his way of drumming

- Serial Joe says that silverchair is one of their inluences (okay, they suck but anyways...)

- silverchair said that one of the down-points of touring with their parents is that they smoke

- Courtney Love (from Hole) wants Daniel bad, according to Daniel (He was being sarcastic by the way)

- It was revealed that Daniel has asthema when he had to go home after the 1997 ARIA awards (he was out of breath and had to go home to his "puffer")

- When Soundgarden broke up, Daniel got pissed off because they were one of his favourite bands

- A fan tried to rip off Daniel's bag when he was signing autographs

- The last time Daniel cried was when he was 14, when a bandsaw (I have no clue what that is) went straight through his foor

- Daniel fell in a watering can when he was little

- When they were little, Ben and Daniel convinced Chris to eat an orange crayon saying that is was cheese (poor kid)

- Ben and Chris were friends since they were six and Daniel became friends with them in grade 3

- Daniel currently drives a metallic blue Mercedes Kompressor (he bought it due to tax reasons) but used to drive a XP '66 Ford (which he describes it as a "rockin' mobile)

- Ben hates reading because it's really boring (actually it depends on what you're reading)

- Daniel describes his first shag to be really uncomfortable and boring and he felt like, "a dumb piece of shit". (I don't know if he's joking or not)

- silverchair hates the song "Cicada" (from Frogstomp) and "donated" it to the "crap songs of our time" to Kerrang!

- Daniel thinks that Fiona Apple is nice looking

- Ben eats boiled eggs with runny yolk for breakfast and dips his toast in the yolk (Chris seems disgusted by this)

- A button up shirt is, "nice for going out on a date or out in town with the boys." according to Ben

- the lowest weight Daniel been recently was 50Kg (about 110 Lbs) due to his eating disorder

- Heath (Daniel's brother) recently turned vegetarian

- It pissed Ben off when critics think of them as a "boy band" (referring them as one of the Backstreet Boys or N' Sync)

- Daniel has been a vegetarian for 3 years and vegan for about a year and a half

- Chris gets "pissed" when he's drunk (meaning not mad but crazy)

- During a 1997 show in Perth, Australia, Adalita (from Magic Dirt) adledgely "raped" Daniel while he was playing and tried to kiss him

- Adalita and Daniel were rumoured to be dating

- Daniel wore grey underwear when he was playing in Perth in 1997

- Daniel gets pissed (well not really but annoyed) when people ask him about the beach incident with Dave Navarro (at the Intimate and Interactive in Toronto when someone asked him about that he looked down and leaned his head to the mike)

- Ben is the shortest member of silverchair at about 5'7 (Chris is 5'8 and Daniel is 5'11)

- Daniel hates dance music and if his kids (if he chooses to have any) ever listens to it, he'd ground them (I think that he's joking)

- Chris would go back to the '70s if they could go back to any music era

- Daniel used to break dance when his was little and his first song was, "a little rap tune"

- Ben's dad is a plummber, Daniel's dad owns a fruit market and Chris' dad works at a dry cleaners

- Chris started to play the bass when Daniel and Ben approached him to play it when they thought that they sounded like shit without a bass

- silverchair did a condom commercial in Australia

- Daniel wears Max Factor mascara (I think Calorie 2000) because it increases the lashes by 200% (he was most likely being really sarcastic)

- Chris doesn't talk much (obvioulsy) because he has to, "limit his vocal chords" (this explains a whole bunch)

- silverchair's record company didn't let Ben and Daniel do interviews together because they would always talk to eachother and ignore the interviewer

- John Watson (the bands manager) used to write for Australian Rolling Stone

- Tobin, (the bands old fourth member) used to play the rhythem guitar for "The Innocent Criminals" but moved to England for a year and came back to find out that silverchair landed a record deal and a contract only for three people (silverchair won't comment what Tobin said)

- when silverchair won the Nomad Pick Me contest, Daniel was over at Chris' house

- Ben wears boxers because he says wearing briefs feels like someone's got a hold of you for 24 hours

- Chris learned the bass in just 3 months

- When Daniel and Ben approached Chris to play the bass, he was already learning the accoustic guitar
