Nudirexshun's Purdy of PrairieDawn, our chocolate, f2 ASH hybrid had her first litter yesterday. Aparently the bed I made her, including a velux blanket, was not to her liking. She chose to birth in the magazine rack, instead, on top of this week's grocery flier.
We have four new kittens:
Curly with Rose Names
boy, silver tabby, 90g, with curls to-die-for :) - "Omni"
girl, brown tabby, 82g - "Oriana"
Straight-coated with Candy Names
girl, silver, 82g - "Twizzler"
girl, brown, 80g - "Maple Candy"
Mom and babes are great and enjoying a propper bed now. The kittens all gained weight over night. Purdy is a natural mama.
Dad is Capilano's Stirling of PrairieDawn.
Thanks to the "grammas" (one day these young ladies will slap me for calling them that LOL), Leslie Brown, Melody Allan, Sherise Giffen-Rousch, and Cheryl Dunsmore.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing how these babies develop. I'm really impressed with the coats and ears on all of these babies; a few have really good stops, too. It really doesn't matter what colour they are. :)
