Saddly, two pet kittens of our breeding were affected by Vitamin D overdoses in Royal Canin foods a year ago. They have recovered. Other pets did not. Unlike Menu Foods, Royal Canin did NOT issue a public recall. The affected foods were a formula sold only in pet stores. All vets who sold the product were not informed of the problem. Royal Canin did pay vet bills.
