This spell was created by the enchanting Princesa de Belcadiz, Marquesa del Alhambra, Virreina de Monteleone, Doņa Carnelia de Belcadiz y Fedorias. She uses this spell mainly when she needs to demonstrate an idea or prove a point.

This sophisticated spell creates a 3-dimensional illusion with visual and auditory components, totally under the casters control. The illusion may also extend to total area of effect creating an effects of unlimited size and proportions, surrounding the caster's audience. Touch, smell and taste are not affected and the audience suffers no damage from the illusion.

The audience is usually willing to believe in the illusion and intelligent enough to understand its purpose is for demonstration only, but may still save at –4 in order to disbelieve the illusion (whatever good that will do!). Clearly, the illusion is just an illusion, lacking in substance, touch, and smell. The illusion is quite easy to control, and is only limited by the imagination of the caster. No artistic skill is required, as the illusion is fed from the mind of the caster.

Princess Carnelia has used this spell many times in Parliament and at Council, and has effectively won many arguments and disputes for her, making her truly one of the best players of Glantrian politics.

Ysabel's Locket of Unwavering Principle

This filigreed silver locket was created by the powerful elven wizardess Alma de Fedorias for her only daughter, Ysabel. When high-spirited young Ysabel insisted on moving to Glantri City to attend the Great School of Magic, Alma worried at the kind of company naive Ysabel might keep; she did not want her fun-loving and good-hearted daughter corrupted by the more unsavory elements of Glantrian high society. And so she commissioned the Locket.

Protected by theft by a powerful geas, the Locket of Unwavering Principle surrounds its wearer in an aura of protection and good judgment: the wearer receives the benefits of a constant protection from evil, 10' radius, plus an immunity from charm spells. Furthermore, the Locket aids in clear thought and decision-making, giving the wearer a +1 bonus to Wisdom. The Locket works to preserve the behavioral patterns (i.e. alignment) of the wearer, keeping her from such bad influences as would bring dishonor upon herself or her family. (Unfortunately, the influence of the Locket in this regard rendered Ysabel unable to compromise her principles in order to marry Ralindi as his second wife.)

To further protect her daughter, Doņa Alma had the completed Locket blessed by a priestess of Valerias; it now acts as a holy symbol in regard to warding off evil undead.

While Ysabel is aware that the Locket is magical, and protects her from evil, she does not know to what extent. She is loath to remove the charm, as it gives her a feeling of comfort which she associates with her mother.
