	Michael is the Thunderbolt Knight, the Knight of Revenge.  He attends 10th grade at Brookdale Private School, and takes archery classes Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.  When he was four years old, his politician parents were killed in a car accident while he was home alone waiting for the babysitter (she got stuck in traffic and got there about an hour later...that's why he has trouble being alone).  Having no relatives, he was sent to an orphanage on his home island of Hokkaido.  There, he met his idol, Darien Shields.    Yes, I said "Darien Shields," who was at the orphanage with his two year old sister, Celeste.  But Michael didn't idolize Darien at first.  No, he held all the older boys in a general state of awe, but he didn't start idolizing Darien in particular until he was 10 and Michael was 7.  Michael was being beaten by some 12 year old boys for laughing at them (these were particularly grumpy 12 year old boys).  Darien stepped in and made them stop.  This, on top of the fact that Darien was really smart, resulted in Darien's acquisition of a shadow named "Michael."  Michael grew up with Darien and Celeste, and when Darien and Celeste left the orphanage, he wrote letters to them frequently.  Very frequently.  When Michael turned 16, he was deemed adult enough to go to Tokyo and go to school there; provided Darien would look after him.  It was arranged, and Michael lives by himself in a tiny apartment.  He uses his small inheritence to pay for tuiton and his apartment.  He has a fair income teaching younger archery classes after his class on Tuesday, and uses it to pay for his own classess and whatever.    Michael is the reincarnation of Prince Perseus of Andromeda.  During the Silver Millenium, he was betrothed to the Prism Princess, Kira, but it wasn't the true love thing that Darien and Serena have.  The Thunderbolt Knight does protect Sailor Andromeda, however, and Kira and Michael are good friends...at least, on Kira's side.  Michael's got a big crush on Kira, and when he found out she liked Darien, Michael decided that to win her favor, he had to be even more like Darien.     You may have noticed that Michael's first name is really "Perseus."  Well, he's too embarrassed to go by that, so he goes by Michael instead.
