Hi, Everybody!

Some of you already know me. For those of you who don't, my name is Wendy. I'm 17, and I am a junior in high school.

I was born and raised in a fundamentalist Christian family. I belonged to a non-denominational "Bible church". However, about a year ago, I happened to read a library book about Saint Joan of Arc, which led me to become curious about the Catholic Church.

I visited a whole bunch of Catholic websites on the internet, and wow, I totally changed my way of thinking. Anyway, to make a long story short, I ultimately decided that the Catholic Church was the church of the apostles and the first Christians. I became a convert to the Catholic church.

My little world has totally turned upside down ever since. My parents were not happy with my decision. I think that they thought I had lost my mind. There was a lot of yelling and arguing, but fortunately they did not stand in my way. I have lost some friends too. I wish things could be different, but I have to do what's right for me.

On the other hand, I've made some great friends over the internet, and I'd like to make a lot more.

So ...

I have an important announcement!
