Seek the Lord, and his strength, Since I become a Christian, my desire was and is to work for my Lord. One day I sat down and was inspired to write a poem, write something that was on my heart about just what my Lord meant to me. Well, "just like that".....I did it. I guess you could say I was kinda overjoyed by what I had done. But then, I thought, me write poems....HUH! Well for the longest time I never tried to do much more writing, cause I felt I couldn't do it, I read so many others writings over the internet and in books and I thought mine aren't this good, so I just will read instead of writing. Not realizing God was giving me this to do. You see the ole enemy was trying to detour me from doing God's work, because I was Glorifying God through them. Then by the encouragement of my sister, Tonia and brother-in-law Jimmy, who stayed on me all the time, telling me "Lady, this is what God has given you to do"... I began the journey of writing. I hope you will be blessed as you read the words God has given to me. They are only a portion of what God has been to me, as words could never describe all He has been to me or done for me. I am nothing but a vessel willing to be used by God in any way He so chooses to do. I am nothing special, just a sinner, that has been SAVED by His Marvelous Grace. I love the Lord and wanna share my thoughts of what He is to me with you.
