10. D1SCLOSURE TO THE TEACHERS
While Sathya Sai was a student at Bukkapatnam, two teachers had
become friendly with Him. They subsequently visited Puttaparthi. The personal
experiences they had, are worth considering. Shri Subbanachar openly declares,
My first impression of Sathya Sai was that He was a great devotee like Prahlada.
I saw Him doing miraculous deeds. I was convinced beyond doubt that this Boy is
not an ordinary human being but One who has in Him Divine powers, beyond the
natural. It actually happened so! He made us wonderstruck, when the 'mad boy'
of Puttaparthi lifted the curtain and established that He was none other than
the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai. From the time He told us that He would narrate
to us the life story of His previous body ,we were extremely happy and remained
very anxious and desirous of hearing the unique story of the previous life,
particularly the childhood and the first sixteen years (which had not appeared
in print upto then). We considered ourselves extremely_fortunate, that Baba was
going to bestow upon us the gift, which we had pined for. As promised, Baba
narrated to us the beautiful story at night. We saw Shirdi Sai in human form,
concrete in flesh and alive, standing before us in factual existence. Ah: What a Supreme Divine Ananda! What
an unlimited and infinite Grace He conferred on us.
At that tender age the growing luminary of the legend of the Saga
of Sais, narrated to these revered
teachers, a chronological account of the events of His previous life at Shirdi.
The story has been published in 102 Telugu Slokas in a book entitled "Sree
Sayesuni Charitra" in the year 1944.
The other teacher Shri V.C.Kondappa narrates the details of Shirdi
Sai’s parentage, birth and childhood as told to them by Sri Sathya Sai.
