50. WRONG INTENTIONS DEMOTIVATED'

Both the Sais do not approve of 'hara-kiri (suicide)', as a mode
of exit from human habitation. If any bhakta, driven to desperation, ever attempts
to take such a drastic step, he is invariably prevented through physical intervention
by any of the two Sais. Parthi and Shirdi Sais are alike in this damming of the
deluge of despicable emotions of the desperado. This has been already
illustrated in Sai Prakash Series (I) Page 10 to 14. Here we have another such
example once again Sathya Sai rushing to save a devotee of His previous
Sariram. In this particular scene, an Air-force pilot, in sheer exasperation,
due to having become a victim of false litigation, was in the act of bringing
about his physical finale. The scenario was Kashmir and the year 1957. The
episode comes on the stage, when at Prasanthi Nilayam, Baba goes into a
transcorporeal journey. This time, for as long as twelve hours. There follows
the return and the usual narrative of the goings on, at a distant place, during
Baba's absence. Bhagavan informed those present, how he had just saved a young
aviator from committing suicide, by striking the cup of poison out of his
hands. The intervention of the 'Saviour' was not delimited entered the Court-Martial
room, where the pilot was being tried, on a fraudulent charge of embezzlement.
Once again the 'Indweller', put it into the mind of one of the judges, to raise
queries which struck a fatal blow to the case of the prosecution. The judge
ment! Not Guilty!
