54. SHIRDI VISITED IN 'SUKSHMA SARIRA"

 

The physical visit of Sri Sathya Sai to Shirdi is said to be long overdue. Ahaktas who realize or acknowledge the 'Oneness' are Longingly praying for the same We fervently hope and sincerely pray that our humble efforts in this 'booklet', may serve to bring out in bold relief, the fact of 'Sameness' of the two Avatars, which in turn may intensify the yearning to an extent that Baba rescinds by His physical visit to Shirdi.

 

During many a transcorporeal journey at Prasanthi Nilayam it has repeatedly come to light that Baba had gone to Shirdi in His 'Sukshma Sarira (Subtle Form)' or in an 'arul manifestatlon (Grace Body)' In the past on the Mahasamadhl day at Shirdi, Sathya Sai used to go in a trance (away from physical body) at the 'noon arti' time and gave the details on return. Once Baba was having a meal with a devotee. A transcor­poreal journey precipitated, during which Baba heard saying "Serve him chapatis, kheer,............. sweets" when Bhagavan came back, the person in attendance told Him that 'items' which He was asking to be served were neither known nor prepared. The Compassionate Sai understood the predicament and told them that He had journeyed to 5hirdi and during the visit He was ordering the regional dishes there.
