Meat
Over 10 billion animals annually are killed for human consumption.
Laying hens are kept in a 5 or 6 by 14 square inch cage, and as many as 20% die from living conditions.
Dairy
At least half of the 10 million cows kept for milk are on Factory Farms in the United States and die from suffering of living conditions.
Cows only live 4-5 instead of their natural life time expectancy (20-25 years) due to the farmers artificially inseminating them for best results in our dairy products.
