How ABC form?
ABC was formed early 2003 because me and Tim wanna
play Scandi and Jap style punk!!!! So we started
writting songs and along the way we recruited Max
from
far Left Limit and Haziman. Later on Bart joined in
on
vocals. So at this point it was Bart( vox ) Yeap (
guitar, vox ) Tim ( guitar ) Man ( bass ) Max (
drums
)We started playing shows and got good feed back
from
people that come to our shows. Now 2004, our current
lineup is Yeap ( guitar/ vox ), Ramez ( guitar ),
Tim
( drums ) Bart ( bass/vox ). Bart will be leaving
the
band soon because he is goin to Europe. So if anyone
out there is interested in playing bass and has a
good
voice get in contact!
Can you describe your musical style?
Jap, Scandi, D beat, thrash, melodic, ....
Some people not very understand your lyrics in
the
ABC EP, can you explain it one by one.
Yeah, all the songs are political in nature...Bart
our
lyric writer likes to write in a very dark poetic
way.
Most of it is about current issues, war,
nationalism,
the disease that man inflicts on the earth, apathy
and
the bitter end!!!
What its ABC Weapon mean?
ABC WEAPONS mean atomic biological chemical weapons.
But actually we got the idea from a GISM song called
ABC Weapons hehehe.
Are any others members play with othere band?
Yup....We all play in different bands!!! Me and Tim
play in PISSCHRIST which is touring SE Asia early
2005. Bart plays in Schifosi. Ramez used to play in
drunkard. Our now ex members Haziman and Max both
play
in Terrafirma...a I SPY influenced sort of band. Max
also plays in Agents of abhorrence.
Yeap, what can you see the different between
Malaysia and Australia scene. Any suggestions to
improve Malaysia scene.
I see good in both scenes. Just different positive
stuff. I guess in australia...you get more freedom
to
express yourself. everything is more accessible in
terms of music, gigs, information, event...you name
it. I guess in Malaysia because people don't get it
so
easy...they treasure what they got better!
Your view about what going on the world today?
Its fucked up!!!! what can I say!!! There are a
million things that is wrong with the world!!! If
you
are not happy about it..find something you can do to
make a change!
Future plan for ABC? releases, tour etc.
well we just finished a recording for a split LP with the Collapse. it sounds really good and has more D BEAT!!!! We just got offered to do a full LP on Putrid Filth Conspiracy. and we plan to put all our recorded songs on a CD release that will be on Blast off recs.There are no plans to tour yet...we probably have to find a new bass player first.
