I've always been very bad at describing a bands music style. So I won't bother there's an mp3 at the end of the page, Insuiciety are an amazing band, well worth checking out.
1. First off could you give a little background history of the band. Are members in any other bands, previous bands etc.?

At the moment INSU is: Agustina_bass, Ajka_vocal, Andrzej_guitar, Marek_drums. Augustina she's playing as well in RIOTS NOT DIETS, it's a nice two people band in style of popy Ramones. She is taking a part in a lot of projects. currently Agustina´s recording a demo tape with her other band where she's playing drums. Andrzej long time ago played in WHITE RABBIT, it was a good punk band in Warsaw, than EPIDEMIA band from Berlin, in EPIDEMIA played also Ficek, who used to play bass with us. Marek right now is playing in two and half bands. One is INSU, second is MONSTER where he´s playing bass, and half is a band in poland which is a side project:In a winter we´d like to play some shows and that's it, maybe some recording before end, will see... For Ajka INSU it's her first band ever. As a idea of the band we started somewhere in 2001, but first show was 02.11.2002. During this time in band played on Bass: Sto- with whom we never played shows together, Judith (ex-PEACE OF MIND, right now she´s playing together with Agustina in the other band), we also tried with our friend Daniel but either we didn't play any shows together.Afterwards a friend of us Iban played as a help when we had shows and no bass player - thank You forever! We played with Ficek, and with Ficek we recorded Believe and Die "10, thats all, from our history. We play some shows and short tours in europe from time to time....

2. Could you tell us a bit about your local scene (bands, zines, labels etc)?
Local scene in Berlin, it's not an easy question.Berlin is huge and that means that everybody can find something for itself.......there are some good bands;allee der kosmonauten, voltron, solid decline,monster....besides the music scene there are a lot of good social and political projects(for example Abolishing the Borders from Below).

3.Do you find it hard to finance the band in regards to equiment, transoport, recording etc?
(Marek)Yes. I'm playing in bands some years now, and fuck yeah, i spent hell a lot of money for doing this hobby. Fortunately we had an opportunity to record our "10 in poland, that´s why the whole process was not that expensive, so it was possible for labels to cover the costs of recording session. We had also a luck that our friend Ivan did a such an amazing artwork for almost no costs. Anyway, otherwise we as a band would have not been able to cover all of the expensis of recording and pressing.

4.How important are the lyrics to the band? Do you think lyrics can inform and changes peoples opinions on issues? Would you consider yourselves as a political band?
We´re not taking INSU as a political band. But we know that some people consider us as a such one, because of the places where weare living and things which we're doing. If being a D.I.Y. band makes You a political band, if being a Vegan-Vegetarian band makes you political or being punk-straight edge makes you political, than yes we're political band. Our lyrics in 90% saying about personal things, and dark side of humans mind.

5.Finally whats the future plans for Insuiciety?
Future plans, fucking hell, we gonna play some at the end of November, we have shows to play in December douring the X-mass, will see. We still in studio to record some songs, we have recorded five songs as a video. We playing live in studio, with a lot of visalisatiuon, thats a nice thing. We will like to relise a CD with audio and video files, thats the plan for the future. Rest is unwriten...
