Distortion sent me a promo of "distortion to hell again" which is when I first heard of SkitSystem. I listen to "Enkel Resa Till Rannstenen", "Profithysteri" and "Ondskans Ansikte", at work every week(no lie!). Thanks to Alex their bass player who answered the questions(2004). Protest: How do you find the differance between touring in the states and europe? It's just two different cultures with different kind of people in it. The good thing in playing in a punk band on tour is that you meet the people you want to meet (not always), instead of the TV-Media indoctrinated people if you know what I mean. What was the most enjoyable gig you've played? I would vote on Hultsfredsfestivalen that's on the "Allt é skit" CD. We were really tight as a band at that time. And there was about 1000 people hadbanging and dancing. Do you play alot around Sweden? any local bands you could recommend? No, we don't play much. We are a really lazy band. We work, have kids, and like to sit at the pub a lot. What are your influences? My influence when writing music to Shitsystem would be bands like G-Anx, No Security, Extreme Noise Terror just to name a few. The most frequently album on my player at the moment is Remains of the day - An underlying frequency. What do you think about downloading programs that let people download your music freely, and other bands music as well. Do you think this is a good or bad idea? We were acutally one of the first bands on the Internet putting up all of our songs for free to download as early as 1995-96. We don't loose money because of that. We only loose the money we would earn if you bought the shit. Get it?! But I don't like downloading softwares even though I have to use them. I would rather like to go to the artists website and look and read about them while downloading. What are the future plans for the band?releases tours,etc...? We have a lot of plans for shitsystem. One 7" split and one 12" split and a new full length album. A US tour and hopefully a Euro tour. But we are a shit band with shit people in it so don't expect very much from us. Cheers alex SKITSYSTEM
