Once you have made a decision, you are taken to the back of the shop into a private area. Before you can wear your wig, you will have to have your head shaved. In the privacy of a small room at the back of the shop, your head will be shaved and your new wig fitted and trimmed if necessary. No one will see you with no hair and you will emerge with your new wig already fitted!In fact depending on the wig you select, your friends may not even be aware that you are wearing a wig and will not be aware until you tell them that you no longer have a wig on.
There are special products that you will need to take care of your wig, which you can also purchase at Freda’s. Wigs can be expensive and you will want to check with your health insurance to see if this will be covered.
