Pettipas Racing Team is pleased to announce that Paul Machan of Halifax, Nova Scotia will be at the wheel of their GT-1 Corvette to contest the first event on the Atlantic Region Motorsports (ARMS) road racing calendar at Atlantic Motorsport Park. Paul will be driving in both the one-hour Atlantic Challenge and Unlimited races. He will be sharing driving duties with co-driver and team crew chief Leigh Pettipas in the Challenge race.
PRT
has high hopes regarding the potential of their new driver. Paul
has numerous Solo I, Solo II, and karting championships to his credit and
the team is confident he will have little trouble getting up to speed.
Paul’s step up to GT-1 competition is part of his long-term goal of contesting
the Canada GT Challenge Cup and the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series in
PRT’s American GT-class Camaro.
The ground-pounding GT action begins May 26th at historic Atlantic Motorsport Park, located in Shubenacadie, N.S.
