I just come back from 20-th days travel on the Islands. Was very good. Crete, Santorini, Paros and Ios. Crete so big, but very beautiful, particulary Matala, Vai and Paleochora beach. Of course I didn't spend all time on the beaches I was also in Samaria Gorge, I think the most beautiful place in the mountain on Crete. Santorini - the landscape like from Mars or Moon, but beaches nothing special. Black sand, too hot, bottom not flat - a lot of big stones. Paros quite quiet, not many people, beaches good. Ios- Ios is not Greek they should sell this island for Sweden or for U.S. you can meet there people practycally from this country, only 5 km asphalt road. Crazy camping "Far Out" f... good night life. Very nice beaches. Average age of people may be 19-20.
