Coming Together

There were a lot of good things that happened this week, and again, I find myself trying to choose just one "moment". For me, that moment was when Ethan and Theresa arrived at Sheridan's cottage, with a bottle of champagne in hand to celebrate and toast the new year, and their new loves.

At first, Luis was not thrilled that his sister is (still) with Ethan and he knows there is nothing he can do to stop it. But he again lets Ethan know that he is not going to allow his sister to get her by his family. Ethan agrees completely, and promises Luis that he will protect Theresa for the rest of her life. He loves her too much to let anything come between them again. With that, the two men exchange a knowing look that lets the viewer know that they are finally starting to mend their fences.

At the same moment, Sheridan and Theresa are utterly excited that they are both with the men they love, and that they could not have asked to be happier. They join the men for a toast of champagne and raise their glasses together in support of one another. Ethan and Luis finally shake hands, signifying that a friendship is about to start (although a slow friendship at that).

Who could ask for anything more.

Day Dreamer

To be honest with you, there really wasn't anything that was truly worthy of the "Moment" for the week. So instead of leaving it blank or stating that there was nothing to write about, I've decided to bestow the honor on Rebecca Hotchkiss. Her wildly entertaining dream/fantasy about exposing Ivy's secret of Ethan's paternity, and having Julian throw her out of the house, at the same time Ethan throwing Theresa out of the house and returning to the arms of Gwen was a hoot.

The typical over-the-top way that Rebecca had this dream was perfect. Watching Julian throw his wife out of the house and, in turn, having Ethan abruptly toss Theresa (and her mother Pilar) to the wayside was truly funny. All the while, Rebecca stands their and gloats over her wicked accomplishment, and witnesses Ethan return to her daughter and proclaim his undying love for her.

Rebecca is a true-schemer, a blood-sucking tramp that will stop at nothing to get what SHE wants, and destroy whomever gets in her way. This dream goes right up there with the wonderful fantasies that Timmy has from time to time, where he thinks he is a ladies-man, a superhero, and a James Bond type lover. Something tells me that this is not the end to Rebecca's daydreams.

LUIS & SHERIDAN

Poor Little Rich Girl

This past week with the tension mounting about Ethan's paternity, there was one particular moment that really struck a cord with me. It was when Sheridan and Luis were together in the salerium and she finds her old tea set from her childhood. This tea set brings back memories of how lonely and unhappy she was, thanks to Julian and Alistair. Sheridan tells Luis that she fears her brother and father will take him away from her, just like they've taken anything they don't think is good enough for her away from her. She tells him that she was not allowed to play with the other kids in the neighborhood, or build snowmen in the winter, or do anything that the other little girls could do. Her tea parties were always extremely lonely because she was the only little girl present.

Sheridan sobbing uncontrollably tells Luis that she is fearful that Alistair and Julian will try to get rid of him, get him out of her life for good, because she loves him so much. At that moment, Luis surprises Sheridan a "tea party", with just the two of them. Hoping that this will bring a smile to her face, he again assures Sheridan that his love is for real and that he is never leaving her. This entire story throughout the week once again proves that love is so very special and very rare, so much so that this viewer was in tears at the end of each scene. It definitely brought real romance back to the show, something we haven't seen in quite a while, thanks to the antics of Tabitha and Timmy.

Lies & Betrayal

Finally, after all these months, the truth about Ethan's paternity is revealed to everyone. Now I knew that this was going to explosive, but I wasn't prepared for the reaction that Julian gave to finding out this news. As usual, Julian managed to dodge the tabloid reporter until finally the headline was shoved into his face, where he could no longer ignore the man. Well, as typical Julian, he blasted the reporter for printing yet more lies about his family. Was shocked me was that he actually pulled a gun on this poor bastard and threatened to kill him. But once the proof of the illicit affair was produced, Julian suddenly changed his tune, and his demeanor as well.

It was amazing to watch Julian throughout these next few days, watching him slowly boil over with the rage that was building within him. He was so delirious with anger that he came across as being drunk and senseless. But Julian would not be swayed from what he now knows to be true. To see him berate his wife in front of all his party guests was unbelievable, and to watch Ethan stand there and defend his mother was so typical of him. Through it all, Julian finally showed everyone that he actually has human feelings and was deeply hurt by this betrayal. This definitely was the quintessential moment of the week, and I'm sure that there will be more fireworks to come from Julian as he handles this disaster.

The Truth Comes Out

Well, it finally happened, what we have all been waiting for. Ivy breaks down and admits the truth about Ethan's paternity. With her back up against the wall, she tells the entire story, about how she and Sam were lovers when they were younger. How when her father learned of their affair, he put an end to it. Ivy retells the story of how her father intercepted all of Sam's calls and letters, and let her believe that he no longer loved her. Ivy says that her father even told her that Sam had moved on to other women while he was away on the fishing troller, and that he had only used her. Then Julian had entered the picture, and she thought that he loved her, so he agreed to marry her. Ivy goes on to say that it was on her wedding night that she learned the marriage was only a business merger between the Cranes and the Winthrops. She says she ran to Sam that night in tears. It was on that night that Ethan was conceived, and that is why she had to claim Ethan was born prematurely.

With every word spilling from her mouth, Ivy was completely destroyed, watching the look of horror on her sons face, as well as the horror on Sam Bennett's face. She had told him months ago that Ethan was NOT his son and he had believed her. To witness the disbelief in his eyes, as well as the eyes of Ethan was understandable. Everyone finally realized that all of the information in the tabloid was true and that Ivy kept the truth from them. Right up to the end, Ivy continued to tell Ethan that she did it all out of love, love for him and love for Sam. It was amazing to watch, and heartbreaking at the same time because so many people were hurt by this one action. Ethan, Sam, Grace, Ivy, Julian … no one will ever be the same again.

Dazed and Confused

With the revelation that Ethan is not a true Crane, bringing much pain to a lot of people, this past week has not really had the same punch as the week before. However, there was one particular moment that really stuck our for me, and that was when Ethan informed Theresa that he wasn't sure about his feelings for her, considering that he doesn't know who the heck is. While in Ethan's bedroom, he starts to inform Theresa that he is going to an identity crisis, and doesn't understand why he is the way he is anymore. Is it because he was raised a Crane, or is it because he is a blood Bennett? Theresa tries to comfort him as best she could telling him that she loves him no matter what and doesn't care what his last name is. This doesn't sit well with Ethan, and he informs her that he can't marry her while he's going through his crisis.

Ethan explains all his hopes and dreams have been dashed, and a devastated Theresa insists she still loves him and still wants to be with him, but she takes her engagement ring off and give it back to him. She thinks that he is breaking off their engagement and that he no longer loves her. A totally shocked Ethan insists that he does love her and will marry her once this entire situation is resolved. He puts the ring back on her finger and proclaims his love for her again (didn't he just tell her the day before that he didn't know if he loved her anymore??). Anyway, the torment that was shown on Theresa's face when she thought she had lost Ethan was powerful and you really felt her pain in her eyes. Fortunately, Ethan came to his senses and realized what his words were doing to the woman he loves, and explained what he really meant. He does love Theresa and intends on marrying her just as soon as he finds out who sent the letter to the tabloids and ruined his life.

GRACE BENNETT
February 26th thru March 2nd, 2001
Who Are You?

With everything that the Bennetts and the Crane's have been through these past weeks, no one deserved to be hurt more than Grace Bennett. To find out that her entire marriage was based on a lie was utterly devastating. To overhear that your husband fathered a child by another woman, a woman you considered to be a close friend was too much to handle. Through it all, Grace, decides that she no longer wish to live and is determined to die. Sam's love brings her back, however she is not the same Grace that we all knew. She is now completely bitter, and angry; something that nobody has ever seen in her.

As Sam tries to explain his actions to Grace, she remains cold and angry towards him, never looking him in the eye. Grace tells Sam that she doesn't know what to think of their marriage anymore and finds it difficult to believe anything he has to say to her. This throws Sam for a loop, because he has never stopped loving her and is ashamed of himself for keeping this secret all these years. Grace's attitude toward Sam was something of a surprise considering that she is the epitomy of truth and purity. Grace's reaction towards her husband was deserved, but still quite shocking. To wake up and have a completely different attitude and personality towards the man you thought you knew was strange. Grace is definitely not going to be the same ever again, but time will tell as to whether she will fully forgive Sam for his actions. We've already seen how this has affected her – she now has regained some of her powers that she never knew she had (and still doesn't know she has) and things are only going to grow from here. If I were Ivy Crane, I would watch my back from now on.

MIGUEL LOPEZ-FITZGERALD
March 5th thru 9th, 2001
And Take That!

It was pretty funny, and very apropos that Miguel try to strangle Hecuba this week, thanks to her getting just a little to close to the scrying bowl. Hecuba has been very cocky lately about her attempts to kill Charity and she still doesn't realize how strong Miguel's love is for her. He is not going to give up on Charity no matter what. But the reason that this moment was so wonderful was because if you remember, back in the beginning of the show, Tabitha and Charity also had a close encounter with a scrying bowl and someone was getting strangled through it. If I remember correctly, it was Tabitha strangling Charity.

But this also showed that Miguel is just as tough and just and strong as these witches are, mere mortals have powers that witches don't. Miguel going into the fires of hell to save Charity is nice to see, but it is also a little over the top too. He hardly has any strength left in himself, yet he still manages to leap back into the flames to beat those dastardly demons and bring his sweetie home. Hecuba is in for a rude awakening in the next few weeks and things will go from bad to worse I'm sure. One thing is for certain, no matter what happens to the teens of Harmony, Good will win out of Evil – otherwise, they won't have anything to write about.

JULIAN CRANE
March 12th thru 16th, 2001
Now That's Scary!

This week's moment (for me anyway) was to finally see Julian stand up to his father Alistair and tell him that he has had enough of his berating him. While getting on the elevator at Crane Industries, Alistair is barking orders at his son (so what else is new?) and tells him that if he had better take care of Sheridan and Luis' snooping around. Julian finally snaps at Alistair for constantly branding him a failure and starts to bark back at his father.

Julian is sick and tired of the constant belittling and torment that he has endured for all these years under his father's watchful eye. For once, Julian seems to have finally grown a backbone, of sorts, and defends himself against his father. Unfortunately, it doesn't do any good, because when he's finished, his father informes Julian that he too can be taken care of if things go wrong. Julian is even more startled, and actually frightened, when Alistair threatens to have him killed.

Julian has known all along that his father his a cold and heartless person, but he has never in his life heard this type of anger come from him, nor has it ever been directed at his own son before, at least not with that type of calliousness. To watch Julian react to his father's threat was quite funny, as well as heart-stopping, because it has proved once and for all that Alistair only cares about one thing and one thing only … money and power. He literally would sell his own children to the devil if he could.

TIMMY
March 19th thru 23rd, 2001
Every Doll For Himself!

Although this may not be a real Moment of the Week, Timmy did a nice job of convincing Tabitha that he had jumped ship and swam over to the “other” dark side. Pretending to save his own stuffed hide was pretty clever, although he did give Tabby a good scare for once. All of his actions were specifically meant to convince Hecuba that he was on her team, well all along he was trying to get out of the cave so he could save Miguel and Kay (and possibly himself.)

Tabby was pretty pissed at him for deserting her in her time of need, but it was all worth it, because Timmy had the upper hand on Hecuba. He convinced her to blow open a whole in the walls of the cave to that more air would come in and feed the flames underneath Tabby’s boiling pot of water. Then he insisted on running out and getting the ingredients for his special Martimmies. All this from a stupid doll! Not stupid at all, because thanks to Timmy’s quickness, he saved the day and his hide too. Let’s see how things turn out of Timmy in the future, now that he and Tabitha will be sticking around Harmony for a while.

LARRY WINGER SHOW PARTICIPANTS
March 26th thru 30th, 2001
Women and Their Secrets!

Now, it was really no surprise when we found out that Jerry Springer would be making a guest appearance on Passions, we immediately knew exactly how he would be on the show and in what capacity. With that in mind, I was fully expecting an extremely funny dream scene with Jerry as the host of his own talk show. I was neither wrong, nor let down.

The scenes with Jerry (a.k.a. Larry Winger) were pretty funny, and as usual, Passions used the opportunity to go over-the-top and poke a little fun at themselves. With Whitney looking like something out of a bad B-rated movie (9 months pregnant, lip gloss and spandex shorts), talking like a girl from the housing projects, Grace in her little cute Sunday best dress, tomato soup cake in hand, Ivy with her upper-crust attitude and TC with his killer rage and chair-throwing temper was exactly what was needed to bring a little levity to this drawn out series of events surrounding Chad’s paternity. Although Jerry really didn’t have to stretch to portray his character, it was all worth while to see the high and mighty Eve Russell squirm and squeal under the glare of her family and friends. The best part about it, was that TC finally got a brain and caught on to what Eve was mumbling about when she was coming out of her fainted state. It’s about time.

The Love Noodle!

Although it was a sad moment, I give it to Sheridan and Luis's Love Noodle breaking at the chinese restaurant. Poor Sheridan, desperately trying to find love and wanting to believe with everything she has in her soul that Luis is "The One". After being convinced to try the love test, she realizes that this silly test is nothing more than a local tradition which has no real meaning to it. Once the noodle breaks, her eyes say it all. She is devastated, and starts to get extremely upset. Luis and Sally Chin (restaurant owner) try to calm her down but it doesn't work that well. Later on, after Ethan and Theresa arrive and join them for dinner, they open their fortune cookies. Theresa gets a wonderful fortune, but poor Sheridan doesn't. She reads her fortune and is startled to see that it tells her the one thing in the world she has always dreamed of will never come true. This breaks Sheridan down and plants that definite seed of doubt in her mind about her future with Luis. Sheridan, who has wanted true love her entire life, is finding out that maybe she is not worthy of love and that no matter what she does or whom she loves, things will never go her way.

JULIAN & REBECCA
April 9th thru 13th, 2001
The 7 Year Itch!

How could we not give the Moment to Julian and Rebecca for their romp in the hay? We thought we had seen it all when Julian and his little bedroom playmate Suzanne gave their matador and bull routine a run. But this one was even more fantastic, thanks to their wild costumes and Hecuba's bottle. We've seen for the past few weeks how the writers have wonderfully incorporated some of televisions favorite shows into Passions (example: Attack of the Birds, Psycho). And with this week's homage, it was I Dream Of Jeanne at it's best. Hecuba's bottle is practically an exact duplicate of Jeannie's bottle from, and the outfits that Hecuba has donned were amazing.

But thanks to Julian and Rebecca playing their parts to the hilt, we not only got a great laugh, but also were reminded of those days when we, as little kids, would just sit in front of the television watching our favorite shows and getting lost in the magic of them. Julian the arabian sheik and Rebecca the belly dancer were hilarious, all the while expecting to see Ivy bust in and catch them in the act (which never happened). I'm sure this isn't the last that we will see of these two tumbling through the sheets, I'm just curious at to what costumes they will be wearing next time.

TIMMY
April 30th thru May 4th, 2001
The Biggest Hero of Them All!

Well, the producers and writers of the show did not lie (this time) when they said that Timmy would have his finest hour yet. And boy – was it a fine one.

Timmy, the small creature, who went against his evil princess, tried saving Charity and the teens from the fires of hell. And what did he get as his reward for being a good person? The Bennett house topples on top of him and traps him in the flames. Tabitha tries to free him after all the falling debris pins him down, but she can’t. Timmy puts up a brave front as he urges his princess to leave him behind and escape while she can. They then share an emotional good-bye (with the required flashback scenes of most of his previous antics) before Tabitha solemnly walks away. But surprise! Tabitha returns and stays with her Tim-Tim, so the two of them could face the end together. Timmy calls out to the Angel Girl to save him, and she appears (to the dismay of Tabitha). She tells him that his goodness will be rewarded, and just as quickly disappears into the light.

So Timmy really did come through big this time, he went against evil and all the fires of hell to help save Charity, Miguel and Kay and didn’t care about his well being. We all know how much Sam, Luis, Hank, TC, Ethan and the rest of the towns-folk tried to save the kids, but we knew from the beginning that it was going to be up to only one person. Who would have thought that Timmy was the man of the hour. He truly was the Biggest Hero Of Them All!

REESE
May 7th thru May 11th, 2001
Not So Nerdy Anymore!

Poor Reese, always been turned away and shunned because of his geekyness. Kay has been stringing him along making him think they are boyfriend and girlfriend, when they haven’t even kissed each other. And now he is being subjected to the likes of Tabitha.

Reese sure has a bug up his computer because of all the strange happenings going on in Harmony, and he noticed that they all seem to take place when Tabitha is around. On more than a few occasions, he has had suspicions about the "sweet little old lady" and her little doll. But now that the Bennett house has burnt to the ground, Reese has made it is personal mission to expose Tabitha as a witch. When Reese verbally attacked Tabitha after the house fire, I was pretty shocked. I had never seen Reese act so upset before, and to yell and scream at Tabitha was pure campiness.

When Reese asked her to pray with them and ask God to save the teens from the burning house, Tabitha tried to wiggle her way out of it. When Reese and Sam wanted to find out what was making all that noise in her basement, she again wiggled her way out of it. But her innocent lies will not stop this wonder boy. He plans on fooling the wicked witch and exposing her to the entire town of Harmony. Let’s hope he does it before she does away with him.

REBECCA HOTCHKISS
May 14th thru May 18th, 2001
Kill Them, You Say?

This past week, one of the best and funniest moments was when Alistair called Julian at the mansion and informed him that his darling sister had just accepted Luis' marriage proposal. Not only was Julian dumbfounded, but also Rebecca seemed to be in awe of Alistair knowing this information before anyone else. But the reason that I give this week's nod to Becky is because of the way she acted when she was informed that she would be killed herself if she didn't follow through on the plans to break up Sheridan and Luis.

When Alistair tells Julian and Rebecca (via speakerphone as usual) that he knows Rebecca knows of their upcoming plans, he gives her a stern warning to keep her mouth shut. Rebecca swears that she will keep their secret and can be trusted to help with the pending breakup. Alistair then tells Becky that if she doesn't, she will be wiped out, just like Sheridan will be. The look on her face was absolutely priceless. Now, she has very pale skin to begin with, but I didn't think it was possible for her to loose the little color she had left in her face, and then start to turn a couple of shades of green. Julian practically bit a hunk of glass out of his brandy snifter after hearing what his father had to say. It looked like Rebecca finally realized how ruthless Alistair can be and will stop at nothing to accomplish his goals. If the Luis imposter doesn't break up the two lovebirds, then his son and future daughter-in-law will have to kill them.

SHERIDAN CRANE

She's Got A Backbone!

Well it's about time! Sheridan finally realized that her father doesn't love her and never has. And it's such a shame too, because Sheridan is the essence of everything the Crane family does NOT stand for. That is why Luis loves her so much. However, it took a long time for this woman to come to terms with the reality of her father's lack of love for her.

When Alistair showed up on her doorstep unannounced, he tried everything he could think of to pursuade Sheridan that he not only loved her, but to go away with him on a trip to Europe. All of this in the hopes of getting Sheridan away from Luis and preventing their wedding from taking place. Kudos to Sheridan for finally opening her eyes once and for all and believing what everyone else, especially Luis, has been telling her for months. That her father, and brother Julian, have no feelings for her, or anyone else. All they care about is the Crane name and it's power and money. Sheridan finally stood up to her monstrous father and told him to basically "go to hell". Thumbs up to Sheridan for standing her ground and letting her father dig his own grave with everyone word he uttered.

ETHAN CRANE & LUIS LOPEZ FITZGERALD
July 2nd thru July 6th, 2001
Come On Boys, Take It All Off!

This week was an easy one, and not because we were only shown 3 episodes. But because Passions was able to make us laugh and have a good time, without using any of the hocus-pocus it usually gives us.

Ethan and Luis crashing the ladies bachelorette party dressed as strippers was a total riot. First, because Ethan and Luis are finally become friends and putting the past behind them. Luis sees that Ethan is not like his former family and he truly loves his sister Theresa. Ethan sees Luis as the man that would give his own life for his Aunt Sheridan and that he is truly one of the good guys.

But the best part about this week's moment was watching these two good looking men "try" to take their clothes off in front of all the ladies. They thought it would be a dull, boring party and wanted to play a practical joke on the boys. But instead, the tables were turned and the boys got more then they bargained for. Watching Sheridan and Theresa throw themselves at the 'strippers" was pretty funny, because Ethan and Luis were completely dumbstruck and didn't know what to do next. To top it all off, these poor things couldn't dance a step! Luis seemed a little more adept at it than Ethan, but my lord – I didn't know I could laugh so much at something so innocent and playful. Three cheers for the boys of Harmony --- for bearing they're all and giving there all (in front of a bunch of screaming women).

JULIAN CRANE
July 9th thru 13th, 2001
"Believe" Everything You See!

It's about time that Julian and Timmy had some on-screen time together. They haven't been together since the prom boat disaster (of any substantial time anyway) and they were both getting drunk on Martimmys. Timmy is everyone's conscience, and he finally had a chance to give Julian some major doubts about his upcoming plan to murder his sister.

What was funny about this entire scene was that Julian continued to drink with the little doll, even after he found out that he somehow knew the truth. Timmy begged for Mr. Crane to spare Timmy's life, and slowly was able to have Julian let his guard down so that Timmy could make an escape. How in Hades is Tabby going to explain things the next time she runs into the hopefully sober Crane?

I thought it rather cute to watch these two work with each other, giving just as much comedic relief to the scenes as the next one. Listening for them go back and forth, grumbling with Julian's conscience over the dastardly deed was a nice break from all of the suspenseful drama that is taking place. I'm sure we will be seeing more from these two down the road, and it's only going to get better and better.

HARMONY'S DOUBLE WEDDING
July 16th thru July 20th, 2001
How To "Crash" A Wedding!

It finally happened (well, almost). Luis and Sheridan were finally walking down the isle, along with Ethan and Theresa. The anticipation of it all made it more interesting then your average soap wedding. And believe me, this was no average wedding to begin with.

We've known all along about the secret that Theresa was keeping from Ethan, as well as the dastardly plot to kill Sheridan on her wedding day. With everything going on with the upcoming nuptials, I wondered how the show was going to give us something to remember? Well, boy did they. First let me point out that the actual wedding ceremony was beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish traditions that were incorporated into the day. From the lasso to the golden coins, and particularly that Tio Francisco and Tia Cristina were a part of it, as more than just spectators. Both Sheridan and Theresa were stunning in their gowns, and I don't think I've ever seen Ethan look more handsome (Luis couldn't look bad in a potato sack if he tried).

But the kicker came when Ivy found read the latest edition of the tabloid newspaper and busted out of the Crane mansion. To watch her crash her car into the church was unbelievable, along with all of the obstacles that she had to overcome to get there in order to stop the wedding. From her ravenous eyes to her disheveled hair, Ivy Crane was the epitomy of a "scorned woman". Her scenes in the church made it slightly humorous.

All in all, this was a wonderfully, suspenseful segment of the show. Much more entertaining and dramatic then the prom boat disaster from last summer (which I thought was a big sinker!). This double wedding fiasco should definitely propel the show forward, not only in the ratings race, but with the storylines as well.

REBECCA HOTCHKISS
July 23rd thru July 27th, 2001
You're All Wet!

At least one good thing came out of this disaster of a double wedding … and that was Rebecca Hotchkiss getting some of her just desserts! We all know that Pilar is one of the most loveable people in Harmony. Always giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, and taking them for who they are. However, with the Crane and Hotchkiss families each breathing down her neck about her scheming daughter, we've seen first hand how Pilar can turn on people when they least expect it.

There's something to be said for a woman scorned, and a mother to boot (not to mention a latina), but Rebecca should have seen it coming when she saw Pilar's eyes flare outside the church. Becks would not let up on her tirade about how her slut-daughter got what she deserved, and everyone now knows that she is a lying schemer. Thank goodness Pilar did not keep her mouth shut this time, and told Rebecca exactly what she thought of her and her daughter. To add icing on the cake, Pilar gave Rebecca a nice dunking in the church fountain.

And if that wasn't enough, she again pushed her under the water for good measure when Rebecca started to whine about her dress and hair. When will this woman realize that there is no messing with Pilar Lopez-Fitzgerald, especially when it comes to her children? Nobody intimidates her, not even Julian Crane – so to see how Pilar finally got some of her anger out on them was well worth the wait.

All I can say is Brava Pilar! for going head-on with Rebecca and Julian. I can only imagine what is to come this week when Ivy tries to make nice-nice with Pilar. Aye Dios Mio!

THERESA LOPEZ-FITZGERALD
October 29th thru November 2nd, 2001
3 Strikes – You're Out!

As the late, great baseball announcer Mel Allen used to say, "How About That!" Theresa became so enraged at Ivy finding out the truth about her marriage to Julian, that she went a little crazy. I never would have thought Theresa had that kind of anger in her.

To always see her standing there with her eyes full of tears, shaking as to what secret will be revealed next, it was a real shocker to watch her get so completely angry at Ivy and grab the poker from the fireplace and threaten her with it. The force that she swung the poker with was amazing, and I thought for a moment that she was about to smash Ivy's already paralyzed legs, but instead she choose to disable her wheelchair. Sure looks like Theresa got herself in such a mess this time, I don't see how she can possible get out of it. Her secrets and lies have really done a job on her now. Watching Theresa scream at Ivy about how she was "not going to take Ethan away from her, Ever!" was weird to say the least. Theresa looks like she is starting to become dilusional, if she's not careful, they may put her in the looney-bin where Charity stayed a couple of years ago.

Even her own mother couldn't possible stand by her and defend her actions anymore, even though they were coming from a good place. Theresa is in for a really bumpy ride now, and it all hinges on Ethan and Julian.

GRACE BENNETT
December 10th thru December 14th, 2001
You're Not My Husband!

Looks like Grace is guilty of the exact same thing that her loveable husband is. She is keeping a secret from him, and this one could really blow their marriage up. She mistakenly kissed David, thinking he was Sam. I figured something like this would happen, thanks in part to Kay's evil spell.

When Grace walked outside of the house (into the massive fog), she didn't call out her husbands name, she just sauntered up to him and started playing tonsil hockey with him. This will definitely be moment that is going to catapult this storyline into some sticky situations in the future, because as we all know, secrets tend to grow legs and walk all over the place. I wonder how far along in her plan will Ivy get in breaking up the happy couple, and more importantly, will David fall in love with Grace (for real)?
