Bob Stout's Snippets: Free educational resources on the Internet. The most commonly-cited repository of free C/C++ source files. Snippets consists of mostly smaller library and utility functions. Invaluable in helping C/C++ programmers rapidly get new projects up and running. All Snippets source files are - free - either explicitly public domain or freely licensed with no restrictions on their use in either personal or commercial software. Over time, it has grown to more than 94,000 lines of code in over 700 separate files. Previously most snippets code was tested on PC's under DOS/Windows, whereas more and more is now tested under Linux.

DISLIN scientific data plotting software, a high-level plotting library for displaying data as curves, bar graphs, pie charts, 3D-color plots, surfaces, contours and maps. powerful and easy to use software package for scientists and programmers.
