Wait for it to dry completely, overnight. Step 2 Draw the shape of the grip on your plastic. It should look like this. |

Step 3 Cut out the shape, and sand it smooth. Step 4 Put the grips on the plastic after youve cut out the shape. Mark where to drill your holes. Step 5 Drill the 7/64" Hole all the way through the grip. Step 6 Tap the hole you've just drilled for 6-32. Screw the grips in place. Step 7 For a bottomline mount, drill two holes 3/4" apart on the bottom of the plastic, try to make it centered. Step 8 Tap the two holes for 10-32. Screw your bottomline adaptor on. Step 9 Cut off the original handle on the gun. Sand it flush with the top of the handle. Now find where your trigger is going to pull to, and put the 45 grip right there, so your trigger just touches it when it it pulled back all the way. Step 10 Put your new grip in the center of the grip frame of the gun, and epoxy it. I would suggest clamping this, but not too tight. Wait for epoxy to dry COMPLETELY before trying to play with this and see how it feels. |
