Dark Side of the Moon
1. Please To Meetcha! In the English version of Sailor Moon, the opening theme song was changed and catchy lyrics were added. Jupiter and Venus weren't even seen in the opening until episode #27 in Japan.

2. Fact Or Fiction? Originally, Sailor V was a real person-kids chatter about Sailor V catching crooks and stopping crime sprees. In the U.S. version, however, Sailor V is just a video game and TV character.

3. Youth Gone Wild In episode #2, Melvin is  hypnotised andd does all sorts of kooky stuff. While enthralled, Melvin insults his schoolteacher, lifts up her dress, attacks Serena and tries to kiss her.

4. Hit  Me With Your Best Shot Episode #5 (never translated) features some good, old-fashioned brawlin! Serena's brother Sammy kicks Luna, Serena beats up Sammy, Luna attacks a cute fuzzy animal...sheesh, there's more action there than in that DBZ!

5. Act Your Age! Serena uses her disguise power in episode #6 to change into an adult. Then she wears a very low-cut outfit in a bar, and gets in to a strange mans car.

6. Daddy's Little Girl! In episode #20, the girls go off on their own to a secluded hotel without an adult chaperone. Here in the U.S., thats called a "prom".

7. Love Lost In episode #42, Sailor Venus falls in love with an adult man in london. Seems thats fit for Dawson's Creek, but not an American cartoon...

8. Beryl Of Laughs When the Sailor Senshi battled Queen Beryl,  Sailor Jupiter is electrocuted to death; Mercury is boiled alive inside a volcano; Venus is dragged beneath the ice and tortured;  and Mars dies killing the last of the bad girls in a vicious fight. With her friends dead, Serena's a nervous wreck in time for the ultimate agony-in Beryl's lair, Darien dies while shielding Serena from Beryls attack.

9. Beach Blanket Bimbos Almost every episode that features the girls in bathing suits has been cut from North American broadcast, like episode #67, with features the girls on an isolated island. Sorry, Gilligan.

10. Worth The Weight In episode #4, Serena's worried she's fat, so she goes on a dangerous diet: skipping meals, working out too much, etc. In the U.S. version, it's explaining that she forgo her lunch, not that she's skipping any meals.

11. Bubbles... Also in episode #4, Serena's in a hot tub where she sports a hechuva lot of cleavage. However, when the episode was edited for the U.S. audience, the cleavage was colored over as foam water. Damn bubbles.

12. User And Abuser
In episode #8, a scene is cut out where Serena imagines her mother strangling her for getting another bad grade. Same goes for a voiceover of Serena plotting to be friends with Amy so that Amy can do her homework.

13. Dirty Old Man Rayes grandfather makes some suggestive faces in episode #10 and even offers to give the girls a "tour of the temple."  Hoo boy.

14. Dirty Old Man, Part 2 In episode #16, Raye's grandfather asks Amy if she wants to get married at the temple, but she replies that she has no groom.  So Grandpa offers to make an honest woman outta her.  Yuck.

15. X-Rated Nephrite uses an x-ray crystal in episode #24 to search the sleeping Molly's room.  Nephrite looks through the sheets...and pajamas...to see what she's hiding.

16. Cat Scratch Fever In episode #52, Mina calls her cat Artemis a pervert because he's looking at her while she's changing clothes.

17. Feel The Burn! Grampa complains there're no girls at the shrine anymore in episode #63.  In the U.S. episode, Grampa talks about opening up an aerobics martial arts class instead.

18. Gender Bender
All four of the generals of the Negaforce are men in the original Japanese anime.  However U.S. (and Spanish) censors didn't like the homosexual relationship between Zoycite and Malachite, so Zoycite was changed to a female.

19. Gender Bender, Part 2 In Sailor Moon S, Amara (Uranus) fools the girls into thinking she's a boy.  Both Lita and Serena develop a crush on Amara before she reveals her true gender.

20. Panty Raiders In episode #7, two girls are telling jokes on stage about going to an American store and asking for a skillet and some tea.  Thanks to their rotten English, they get panties instead.
