General Background:

Demetri was born in a small village. He grew happily with his sister, brother, and parents. Their village was the center of trade, and architecture. A marvel of people and buildings.  Life was good as Demetri grew to adulthood.  But as quickly as happiness started and his adulthood, so did sorrow and dismay.                       His village came under attack by a drow battalion.  The drow decimated his village. Killing men, burning homes. Enslaving women and tormenting to death children.  Demetri had walked in on the Leader of this force. A Drow of great streingth. He had his mother and sister cornered. Demetri, being a rash age of 14 charged the drow.  The drow easily  sliced the human's leg. Immobalising him with a blade imbedded in his leg. Demetri laid there bleeding as he watched the drow rape both his mother and sister, then decapitate them.                      With his last breath Demetri had prayed to Nurell, the god of death.  Nurell showed in the form of a giant skeleton warrior, weilding a giant scythe of bone.  The figure offered Demetri a choice. Basicly giving him the choice to die, or be a diciple to him.  Be given the power to seak revenge on the murderer of his village.  Demetri took the later without hesitation. As he was then transported to this infinate Abyss. There he recieved 100 tortures of demons. Each one worse then the last, killed then brought back to go agian. After 300 years of this torture he was released back into the world of the living. Cursed as now being undead he stayed like this for 142 years. Plaguing mortals and immortals alike. Growing in power of his Necromancy. He then came to reconstruct the temple of his village darkening it and etching runes into it's walls it would remain standing for all time.  Demetri then began getting into the slave trade. Many slaves came and gone from his care. but he would always keep one for sure. Stephanie was not only his slave, but his apprentice.                       And now he also has been bestowed a curse. on the nights of the full moon when necromancy is at it's weakest. Demetri is cursed to be transformed into his origonal human form. Only on the nights of a new moon, when Necromancy was most powerful was he in his afterlife form.                        Recently returned on a long trip. He had hunted the god who had given him his immortality.  Not having found him he returned. The curse is now stronger, taking more time of his in human form. Then his Afterlife form is during the New moon. His full undead form only appearing when he wills it.  Mainly in time of desperation.
