Back to you
(by Alfredo Moyano Barroso)

(SEGUNDA PARTE) One day later, Scott was walking through the woods next to the
"pyramidial mountains".  Then he ran into an old woman picking flowers=

"Hello there, good morning! Nice day, isn't it?"

"Hello, young man! Could you do me a favor please?"

                         "Sure, why not?"

"Could you please carry this basket of flowers to the house where I live
behind those trees?  I need to take some red water out of the well
                     meanwhile."

Scott took the basket with pleasure but there wasn't any house
behind those trees, and when he looked inside the basket, there wasn't even a flower, just a piece of paper:

                                             "GRACIAS POR EL FAVOR,
                                               DULCE CHICO JOVEN.
SI QUIERES IR A ESE CIELO,
                                             LA MANERA DE CONSEGUIRLO
                                             SERÁ ZAMBULLÉNDOTE EN EL
                                                  FONDO DEL LAGO"

The note was written in some strange language, but surprisingly,
Scott could easily translate it.  And when he turned around to see if the
woman was still picking flowers up, he saw a lake instead.

"Where's the landscape I just left?  I'd swear there was a nice old
woman right there and now there's a lake."

Scott read the note again, <<Thanks for the favor, sweet young man.
If you want to reach that heaven, the only way to get there is to dive
towards the depths of the lake.>>

After thinking about it and undressing himself, Scott rushed into the depths
of that see-through lake whose water easily reflected each of the four
                     moon's lights.

Scottie had no problems to breathe under the water, and after a few
minutes diving, a strange brightness blinded him for a while: it was a sword
that was lying down there by a rock.  Soon Scott knew it was a signal, and
that he had to take it.  Once he did, a hole of light opened up in the
surface and Scott swam up, then climbed through some stone walls:

                         "A well?" wondered Scott.

"Yes, my well, nice young man," said the old woman of the flowers.

Scottie went out and realized that it was the same place where the
old woman had been picking up the flowers a while before.  Then he realized
that the water of the well wasn't transparent... but RED!!.

"I was waiting for you... for a long time since you were born on the
earth...." said the old woman all convinced.

Scott listened very carefully, but he was even more surprised that the
sword he already had in his hands was... the headless man's one!!.

That night the evil servant would look for it and he would come and take revenge
against him and the people living by the pyramidial mountains, etc. (...)

"But you don't even know how to use a sword, silly!"said Isa when
Scott was back with the news.

"Well, not exactly, my love.  That old woman taught me, not  only how to  use it, but also how to kill the servant."

So Scott told Isa about the plans determining the fate of the
neverending land that night.  Ans that night came over quickly.

A kind of little earthquake shook the neverending land soon after
midnight chimed from the clock in Isa's cave.  Brett started barking, and
Isa locked the door.  Scott was absent, right in the middle of people's
cries rushing to their caves to lock the doors:

"Oh gosh, I'm sure this earth-shaking was part of the servant's
madness after discovering that there was no sword this time," wondered our
Scottie.  Scott ran up into the pyramidial mountains, climbing through the
rocks up to the top: to the limit of the neverending land.  The old woman
told him to wait for the servant up there, where Scott would try to beat    him.

                                          (A Few Minutes Later)

                         "Scoootieeeeee, watch out!!" cried Isa.

A two-meter tall being without a head was holding his arms hitting
Scott at the same time after appearing from the shadows in the top of the
                     mountains.

Scott fell down and the sword followed him,  down about three meters  away from his
hands.  Scott knew by the old woman's words that this headless servant
couldn't kill anyone without his sword.  Therefore,  the plans consisted of
throwing the sword away to the empty to run out of that evil tool forever.

However the servant could reach and hit Isa, and this one fell off   unconsciously off after that her one cry.

"Isaaaaaaa!!!!" cried Scott while the servant rushed to his sword.

Suddenly, Brett was there to bite the sword and hand it to his
owner.  Scott took it quickly and threw it into the empty.  But before it fell out
of the limit, the servant caught it with his right hand, and jumped towards
Scott's head to cut it, but....

                         "Ruff, ruff!" barked Brettie.

"Where am I?" cried Scott, waking up.

"It's nothing, my love, just a nightmare!" said Isa while caressing
                     him.

                         "Just a what? You're here!!"

"Of course I'm here, my love," replied Isa laughing.

All had just been a dream of Scott Parsons, who actually lives in
Green Bay, WI, with his wife Isa and his doggie Brett, and always dreamed
about some vacation in the Fiji Islands, though never suspecting that his
dreams could turn into such a nightmare.
