q: what is this site?
a: where Abi dumps all her stuff. Or most of it. But anything she dumps elsewhere can be found here. Thus the name: 'Dump Site'.

q: if it really is still the 'Dump Site', why does the main page say 'purple pen'?
a: because Abi's favorite color is purple (and green) and she writes. It's not the name of the website, it's the content that is on the website that's the purple pen-works.

q: what is the history of this site, anyway?
a: glad you asked! Abi started this with a very basic logo with monochromatic, black-white buttons. Version 2.0 was when she redesigned it for the first time in Xmas '03, putting the fairy on the side and renaming it 'Glass Rollerblades' though this change was not to last. She made several changes on the content and format of the main page, creating new buttons. In time, the fairy disappeared as she grew tired of it. On April 1st, inspired by an LJ she saw, she re-designed the site to have less content on the main page but a much bigger visual impact. Gone were the buttons, and instead only crosshaired-cursor links in a cleaner, SanSerif font (for those non graphic design inclined, a font without the little hooks on the letters) of Tahoma. q: how did you do this?! Can you do it for me?
a: It's called HTML. Hyper-Text-Machine-Language. It's a programming code designed specifically for webpages. Abi is also self-taught in all of this HTML, so making a page like this is a huge accomplishment for her and took many, many hours of hard work and HTML research. q: what graphics program do you use?
a: Serif DrawPlus 4.0. It can be downloaded for free here. The pictures are found on the internet and all sources cited in the disclaimer.
