Fushigi Yuugi: The Movie

So...if you're a psychotic FY fan, you've probably asked yourself this question.  If, for some really weird reason, they decided to make a real life movie out of Fushigi Yuugi, who would play all of our favorite characters??? Well, allow us to offer a few interesting suggestions:

JOSH HARTNETT as HOTOHORI ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kokkei and I saw him on Leno and decided that he has Squinty Hotohori Eyes!! So, tadaaaa!!! We think he works pretty well. ^_~

SETH GREEN as TASUKI ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay, we're not picking him just cuz he has red hair.  He's a spazz, just like Tasuki.  Have you ever seen Idle Hands, for crying out loud???? Seriously, he could do it. He'd need stilts, or big heels, but he could do it.  ^_~  Short people of the world, unite!!

NATALIE PORTMAN as NURIKO ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Umm...hey, it could happen.  *giggle* It was tooooo haaaaard to find a male actor who could pull Nuriko off, so we figured, since he's played by a girl in the anime anyway...yeah.  ^_~ Oh, and my RA walked into my room while I was doing this.  Sure, I'm sane. :P

HALEY JOEL OSMENT as CHIRIKO ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay, come on.  This is blatantly obvious.  Just look at the kid! Watch him! Genius kiddie actor! Duhhh!! ^_^

HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN as CHICHIRI ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ryuen and Kokkei sprung this one on me, but I guess it kinda fits.  ^^;;  Granted, I haven't seen the guy act yet, but it works for me. ^_^

BEN AFFLECK as MITSUKAKE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **tries not to laugh**  Ummmm...dude. He fits Mits.  Who knew?  ^^;;  He does the whole Silent Mouth Thing when he's acting all heroic in Armageddon.  And he doesn't have to talk that much!!  ^^;

KIMBERLY J. BROWN as MIAKA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hey, she fits. ^__^

DANNY CHEN as TAMAHOME ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ehehehehehehe....  ^_~
