The Indonesian Police
Medical and Health Services (Disdokkes Polri) is a head quarter level division
of the Indonesian National Police which main tasks are to manage and to carry
out the Police medical and health activities in order to provide Medical Support
for the Indonesian National Police in related operational duties as well as
Fitness and Health Care especially for the Police personnel. This is all in
accordance with our Vision and Mission statement.
At
present officers in charge in Disdokkes Polri are:

To ensure the provision Medical Support as well as Fitness and Health Care Disdokkes Polri has 3 sub divisions; which provide assistance to Kadisdokkes Polri in the management level:

Subdis Yankes (Sub Division of Health Care),
Subdis Matfaskes (Sub Division of Medical Facilities and Equipments).

Medical Support Function: we utilize the medical applied sciences in supporting the main function of The Indonesian Police, among others, in carrying out Scientific Crime Investigation . We divided medical support function into 2 categories: The Police Medicine and The Police Medical Fitness.
Health Care Function: We provide Health Care especially for the police personnel and their families, however, we open our service to the public as a part of the Indonesian Police community service.
To provide Medical Support and Health Care there are 322 Medical General Practitioners, 84 Medical Spesialists/ Master Degrees, 171 Dental General Practitioners, 25 Dental Spesialists/Master Degrees, 39 Pharmacysts, 9 personnel with various Health Care Educational Background, 1800 Paramedics including those with Master Degrees, 1336 personnel of Non Medical background who are spread in 26 Disdokkes Polda (Regional Police Medical and Health Services) throughout the Indonesian archipelago.
We
provide our services
in our Medical
Facilities which consists of 24
Police Hospitals (Type II, III, and IV),
Temporary Medical In-Patient Care Facilities, Clinics/ Mother and Child Care
Clinics,
where our Medical Doctors/ Dentists and Paramedics are ready to serve the
police personnel and their families as well as the
public all over Indonesia.
