Dear parents,

Believe it or not, mid-term is already fast approaching. Your son or daughter has now completed various different types of work covering all aspects and skills in the course. In that regard, I have now begun to supply them with regular updates of their ongoing grades. Since print-outs of their marks may conveniently disappear by time they get home, I am also posting ongoing grades here on the website for your easy access. The names appear as code numbers – ask your son or daughter for their code. If you have any problem, you can also call me at the school (905-356-5155) and I will supply you with the code.

When checking grades online, be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the mark-list. There you will find descriptions for each of the individual marks listed. This will give you a better idea of which areas are becoming the best or worst for your child.

If you are concerned and want to begin monitoring your child’s homework completion in more detail, you may be interested in printing out the homework schedule for the current unit. The schedule doesn’t follow certain dates – rather we simply progress in order from one lesson to the next. Scroll down and you’ll find the schedule below.

Hope all is well. Contact me any time you have concerns.

Sincerely,

Mr. J. Putman
