This Isn't me, i'm not mechanical...
Hello.. i am Pyretta Blaze.. aka.. Amber.. i would like to thank you for taking the time to scroll through my site. If you are offended by any of the content, you shouldn't be here in the first place. A little about me... I am currently a college student at a university here in my state. I am majoring in computer information systems. I am a junior. School is hard but i'm making it. I am 20 years old and counting down to the day I turn 21. YIPPEE! I am one of the most open-minded people that you could possibly encounter. I am bisexual. I have an outlook on religion that many don't like, but i will not post it here. I love the dark side of all things... always have. I love music, mainly the darker stuff, of course, but i am open to anything that is good, excluding country and teeny-bopper music... it's just not my bag. I admire the artists most that write their own music because then you know it comes from the heart. My favorite bands include.. my all time favorite Marilyn Manson, and second favorite Type O Negative.. I also like others such as Danzig, Drain STH, Insane Clown Posse, and Fiona Apple. Those are my biggest favs. I listen to the kind of music because it reflects me, i do not reflect it. Of all of the above, I have only seen Marilyn Manson in concert, and may I say that it is an experience that I will never forget in my mind and I wish I could relive it over many times. It was an awesome show in the visual as well as the audio portions. Just for the hell of it, Marilyn Manson has NOT lost his edge. It was proven to me in the concert. I admire the whole band, not just the lead Marilyn Manson, although i do admire his individuality and his outlook upon society. I believe that the only reason people are afraid of him and his music is that it is truthful, and the truth hurts people!
"I'm everything they're afraid of. Everything they hate. Everything they try and hide, and a lot more besides. I speak my mind and show people what's really out there in reality. They're using me as a boogeyman, but I'm reflecting it all back like a mirror." - Marilyn Manson
UPDATE: December 16, 2000: Saw Marilyn Manson in Concert in Dallas, Texas.. Awesome show.. extremely crowded.. about got trampled very close to the stage.. loved every minute of it.
Living in the bible belt is not the best place to express individuality. For a long time I tried to fit in. Not that i wanted to, but it seemed easier that way, to be a sheep in a herd, to conform to society. College changed that for me. I saw that people were expressing their individuality (not many, but some) and I realized, now that I'm out of that small town where i went to high school that I could be an individual. I didn't have to be who everyone wanted me to be. I began to let myself open up to what I liked and what I wanted. I am still opening up and learning every day. I find that true friends will accept you for whoever or whatever you are. I do the things i want because I like them, not by any pressure of being one way or the other. A friend told me recently that life is not that serious, and I have taken that into account. Just live, have fun, be who you want to be. Just be yourself.
Some more factoids about me... I usually won't give my opinion unless I am asked. I am an all-around friendly person. I'm not easily angered, and I love to laugh. I love comedy movies and horror movies. My all-time favorite movie is the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Many people don't get it, and frankly, neither do I, but it is a fun movie that i can watch time and time again. Bram Stoker's Dracula is the best love story ever made in my opinion. If only someone out there felt that way about me. Another one of my favs is Jawbreaker starring the most georgeous gothic babe, Rose McGowan. It's just a twisted movie. I also love idiotic movies such as Night at the Roxbury, and Baseketball. I always get a good laugh from those.
I am very accepting to people and their opinions. I am not judgemental... I will give people a chance. Just because someone is not like me doesn't mean that I won't get along with them. I don't expect people to be like me, nor do I want them to be like me. I don't really give a rat's ass if people like me or not. If people judge me on my appearance and don't get to know the real me, then I don't need them anyway.
Some non-important stuff... my favorite colors are black and red, which is mostly included in my wardrobe, I am into tattoos and piercings although I don't have that many of my own yet. I'm working on it. I drive a 99 black monte carlo with black leather seats and a sunroof.. its my baby.. I currently have no job, i am looking though, just not very hard I guess. That's about all i can come up with at the moment.. check back for updates :)
UPDATE: Got a new tattoo.. a nude devil woman on my right shoulder blade.. holding a pitchfork.. she's sexy.. 2 hours of pain but definitely worth it.. already got my next one worked out to get on my left shoulder blade to cover up a small one i already have.
If anything I have said has offended you in any way shape or form, you shouldn't have kept reading, or if you no longer choose to be my friend after reading my opinions, then you were not a friend in the first place... Goodnite all...
